Games coming thick and fast still - the fourth matchday of the league season already.

Luton come into this game on the back of 3 wins and a draw so far this season, against Stevenage who are struggling at the foot of the table in the early season salvos. The Hatters have never lost at Broadhall Way and are probably favourites going into this game, against a side with many ex-Hatters involved.

Fancy a couple of minor changes with the number of games; possible team:

Hope we'll put in a more spirited performance than Tuesday but can only really see a defeat here, 2-0 or 3-0 Luton I reckon.

Frustrating result. Not sure how we conspired to lose that. Completely dominant and both goals conceded on the break. One of theIrs was a cross into the box that was not dealt with again, and Jones will have to look at that. Finding it hard to be upset though because we played really, really well. Ball on the floor, created chances, just didn't finish them off. Hit the bar 30 seconds before their winner, could have been a completely different result.

9 times out of 10, we win that game. If we play like that all year, we'll be fine. Stevenage on the other hand won't be.

Bit arrogant that mate, hardly our fault Danny Hylton can't finish his dinner.

First half we were very poor, you adapted better to the windy conditions and played well, should've scored more. Second half was more even and I reckon we slightly shaded it as it went on, could've gone either way in the last few minutes but delighted it went our way, good luck for the season anyway, I'm sure you'll be up there as you should be with the money spent.

I think that those people who keep posting about how much money we have spent need to do a bit of research and back it up with some facts, and in comparison with other clubs.
Start by looking up the comparison of our weekly budget with Lescott's weekly pay as published after the Villa game. Then tell us how many of our summer signings that we actually paid a fee for.

Think someone did some back of a fag packet maths based off some comments in the programme by one of the board members and came up with a budget of 1.7 million for the season. That is from outlaws though so take with a hefty pinch of salt!

Didnt get to the game but being honest not overly surprised we lost. We have played really well this first few games IMO and the signs are there for a positive season but I think we have ridden our luck a tad at times. We certainly look a bit vulnerable defensively (being fair we havent been able to field our preferred back line at any point yet with Sheehans injury and then Mullins suspension)

I see Jones has said the first goal came from an overload on the right wing, im not surprised about as it has happened quite often so far and is definitely an area of vulnerability (our fullbacks in general are really). I think is a product of the 442 diamond system we are playing. If you want to beat us, id say thats the way teams will be looking to do it.

The worst thing about Saturday's game, is that I accidentally whacked my balls after Stevenage scored their winner and it bloody hurt.

I'm hoping this could well be a blessing in disguise - the last two Saturday's we've been punished for not taking our first half chances; conceivably we could be 4/4 right now. Until Stevenage equalised, we never really showed any intent to get out of second gear; its almost as if we were finding it too easy, lulling us into a false sense of insecurity.

Dirty Leeds on Tuesday...
