Again, quietly confident but not by any big margin. I'll go for 1-0 to Pools. Three clean sheets out of four so far and there's goals across our front five. Last season we got kicked off the park but there's a lot more steel in us this season.

Am I breaking protocol here? Is it supposed to be a home fan starts these?

Yes, you're breaking protocol. Proper procedure is as follows.

1) Contact by PM all the fans on this board of the home side.
2) Ask them politely if they fancy doing the match thread.
3) If they're not bothered, then feel free to start the match day thread yourself.

The 3 steps outlined above are to be disregarded in the unlikely event that no fans of the home side could be found on this board / no one actually really supports them.

Comfortable 6-1 win for Teddy's team.

Yes please.

We'll probably lose but for some reason I'm hopeful we'll get a result despite Hartlepool winning me a bit of £££ so this season.

I said last season I thought Hartlepool would finish in the top seven, and they've started pretty well.

Going for a Stevenage win here though

Stevenage 2-1 Hartlepool

So the last 20 odd years have been an act ?? Nothing against Teddy , a wonderful footballer , but he'll never be a manager

Oh good another in form team, as Tedy's tough start continues. There are already calls for his head  god we really do have sone jokers at our place. Apparently we should be play off's at least this season ? :ffs: If our lot had their way Westley and Dino would be back in by September 1st as apparently you can't recover from having a bad August. :bang:I see another defeat on the cards and fully epect Westley and Dino to be hanging around the Broadhall Way area like an eggy fart come Monday morning as they did when Smith was under pressure.

Sometimes you have to accept the inevitable and do what's needed , last season we had a manager for 8 games before we did what was needed....

I think 4 games is a little premature to judge. I mean Orient & County are strong sides at this level, Newport is a tricky away game and then away at Ipswich who are unbeaten may be a little harsh to write him off yet.

I agree, although I did expect him to struggle if I'm honest. The fact that he's been out of the game for so long could be too much for him.

Time will tell, we've had some tough games too start the season and as last season our squad is pretty thin with little quality upfront. Westley struggled to get goals out of us, I'm sure Teddy will as well, it's not his fault our strikers are shite. We haven't had a half decent striker since Steve Morison left to be honest.

No we didn't , losing to Blyth was us hitting the very bottom of the bottom , if we hadn't lost that game , Murray would have stayed and Ronnie wouldn't have arrived , the rest as they say is history....Stevenage aren't at critical point yet , but Yeovil look like they aren't too far away from it
