I think it started earlier with Cech getting sold to Arsenal and the lack of real signings in the summer, he's probably been moping around in a mood since then. Then he picked on the doctor which was despicable and then the issues with his father probably haven't helped him keep focussed, so he picks the same tired old track of moaning about the FA and refs, as well as making egregious errors of judgement on handling his players, instead of knuckling down and trying to get out of this mess.

I don't buy this line at all.

They certainly didn't have a squad overhaul but then a squad that finished top pretty comfortably the year before and had 100's of millions spent in the years before doesn't require that.

He still signed a player with a huge reputation so much so that a lot claimed he was the signing of the summer to come straight into the first team, they signed a full back with huge potential, a backup keeper who is in the top 10 or so keepers in the league and took a punt on an aging but formerly world class striker to back up their already world class strikEr and excellent backup in Remy.

On paper there is nothing wrong with that, they certainly did more than Arsenal who they were comfortably better than last year. Chelseas problems run way deeper than the last window.

It's a cliche but I think the only reasonable explanation is that he has lost at least part of the dressing room. No way does a united squad with that amount of quality look as abject as this. It's similar to when Moyes was in charge of United, no matter rwhat he does, some of the players will not play for him.

Personally given his reputation and what he's done for Chelsea, plus the lack of options around I'd let him have the next summer regardless. Let those who want to leave go , no matter how good and start from the ground up.

I hope however they sack him.　No matter how poorly they are doing now or how much of a cock he is they aren't getting any better than him and the long run I'd be more fearful of a Jose managed Chelsea than most other managers.
