According to SSN and Pete O'Rourke... can't say it's not been coming. They've been woeful at the back but good going forward whenever I've seen them this season Forest. I did think appointing Pearce was probably a bad move, but sometimes this fairytales work out in football, sometimes they don't!

Was it a good or bad decision to have him leave the club?
Who will come in next?
Where has it all gone wrong?

Struggling to understand why some Forest fans are so gutted about it, I've seen one fan on twitter say he's heartbroken for fuck sake.

He might have been a great player, and a legend, but he's a horse shit manager. Our best ever player maybe Kevin Francis, I wouldn't want him as manager. I love Jim Gannon, do I want him back again? No.

Stop being fannies.

Never really saw it working out from the start, he just isn't a very good football manager. Used to find the football his England u21 side played horribly regressive and predictable, and he was for the most part derided during his time at Man City (David James up front etc). Only so far a bit of passion and being a club legend can get you, really.

Their fans seem to be mentioning Oscar Garcia as a potential replacement. Could probably do worse, assuming he's over his heart problems.

Right decision, obviously. But the transfer embargo will make life difficult for whoever. is brought in to replace him.

About bloody time! He should have gone before the Derby game TBH.

Total and utter shambles since game 7 of the season. Fawaz has to get this appointment spot-on now.
I would like to see Tim Sherwood come in as his successor but whether that is feasible is yet to be seen.

Paul Jewell is available.

I'm going to tweet Fawaz to let him know.

Terrible manager is still a terrible manager despite managing a club he knows and likes. I for one am shocked.

Probably the a good thing for Forest. They could go for Nigel Adkins next. I wasn't really convinced it was the right appointment when he first got the job

Sounds like Fawaz wants Dan Petrescu.

God knows how the man keeps getting high profile jobs, he can't manage for shit. Got the personality of a wet fart and just sounds completely clueless in interviews.

Surprised it's taken this long.

They have a good squad there, if they get the right man in they could still make the play-offs.

Typical sentimental appointment really. Impressive welcome back in that first home game from the fans, lovely honeymoon period, but the cracks in his ability were there from the start. They drew to many games to begin with, but were glossed over by the fact they were unbeaten. 7 managers in 2 years is it? Fawaz needs to get this next appointment spot on and get some proper advice, instead of going with the fans.

Surprised he has lasted this long, when I went too Forest vs Brighton in September, I could tell he hadn't got a clue what he was doing.

So what will this be now? Fawaz's 867th manager since he bought the club?

Dougie Freedman currently leading the betting.

He might actually be worse than Pearce?

They should go for another legend, in Roy Keane. That would be amazing!
