Stupid chat thing

How the fuck do I get rid of it from the bottom of my screen, seriously doing my nut in. And not just leave the room, fuck it off completely!!!

Click on it, then on top right there's a cogwheel for the settings, should be an option to disable chat.

Edit: nvm, that just clears your screen

You have to click into chat 1st then click on the cog icon, top right.

Need to click on chat at the bottom, not at the top. Should get a few extra options then.

1st = Account settings
Preferences
Turn off shoutbox

2nd = enter chat
Click cog icon top right
Disable chat now visible as the last option in the list.

That should do it

Why does any IT 'upgrade' these days make everything slower and less user friendly? Websites, forums... even fucking word and excel feel like bloated crap now. Tranmere's website is just a bunch of massive fucking cryptic pictures that take up your entire screen. Everything loads so slowly too! Aggggh.
