Well that was a brillant episode.

The first real indicator of how things are going to fall apart and the big changes coming ahead of next season. Either A) Hardman takes over and kicks everyone out of the firm, including Harvey etc or B) Rachel and Mike don't get married, the secret is revealed and that sends the firm into a spiral as to where they can't keep the doors open any longer without letting Hardman in/giving into him.. Either way I don't think many of the key characters will still be at the firm whern Season 6 starts.

We are finally heading for Harvey having his own firm.

Quality episode this week, really enjoyed it.

Its been a great season but the show does need a shape up now, not the usual finale of coming up with a solution last minute to save the day. Mike being caught by Hardman would be ideal and taking over with Harvey setting up himself as has been suggested, only real direction to go in.

I reckon Harvey resigns and Daniel finds out Mike's secret, second half of the season Daniel takes over the firm and Jessica leaves. Harvey acting as an intendant lawyer and comes up in a case against the firm where Mike is made to go against him. Yes we had Mike vs Harvey last season but it was more about the investment banking stuff.

Then end of season will be Mike, Rachel, Donna, Louis etc joining Harvey to make a new firm (Specter Litt). Maybe even people like Katrina, Tanner etc who have appeared on and off through the seasons.

Harold Gunderson starts his own firm with Jessica and they dominate the competition

So by the looks of it Harvey to represent Mike during the fraud trial, unless they're just going to write Mike out of the show by having him plead guilty. The firm part of the second half of the season, to me at least doesn't look as interesting. I'm sure Hardman will still be involved somehow.

Superb final episode to what has been an epic series so far. Really can't emphasise how hooked I have been on the last couple and this series in particular. Quality cast, quality writing, quality programme. Quite scary to think that I won't be able to watch the next episode until 2016....

Solid finale. Certainly switches it up a bit, which is what it needed.

It's all heading towards Jessica leaving and Harvey owning his own firm, where he can employ Mike without it being an issue.

Can't be bothered to wait until January.

There are some pretty big loop holes with the whole show tbh, saw a youtube video or something. If Harvey really thought Mike was/could be that good when he hired him why not have a word with Harvard himself proposing a student (with Mike's scores and a recommendation from Harvey/Jessica if Harvey just bothered to introduce him) and have him go to Harvard while doing the 'Summer associate work' that Rachel is doing. Mike would have passed all the exams by reading the books bar Prof Gerard, who he could have just attended those (Harvey could have told him he wouldn't pass by just reading the books). That way Mike would have essentially been around all the time and in theory been able to work as a lawyer and by this stage of the show would have had his law degree.

Yeah but that doesn't make good TV mate. As far as I'm concerned, the show couldn't be much better than what it is already - certainly for the kind of easy going show it is. I'm glad they haven't changed anything.

Oh yeah I know that and it requires suspension of disbelief, but its a case of supposedly some of the best legal minds in the country wouldn't think of here for the sake of

I highly doubt he'd get into Harvard given his shady past.

Holy shit, finally just caught up with this

Been thinking towards the end of last season, beginning of this it had been getting a little stale, same old relationships between the same old characters but god have they shaken it up now. Fantastic s5 so far and those last 3 episodes in particular I'd rank up with the best of the entire show. Just been sat here open mouthed for about half an hour after that finale.

Can't believe it's been almost 4 months since this finished...back with episode 11 on Wednesday night.

Looking forward to it after the ending to episode 10.

Spoiler tags incase anyone isn't up to date

Obviously Harvey (having left the firm) will represent Mike as it keeps them together and both busy (however would Mike be able to defend himself? Being tried for fraud for not being a lawyer, innocent until proven guilty etc...). I've been wondering if Mike gets off on a technicality of some kind, ie if its about his physical degree (the one he has hung on his wall) then Lola created that for him. Then wouldn't double jeopardy apply to him? Given he was resigning at the end of the half season, he could then work as a law consultant, finding answers to the problems for cases etc, as long as he didn't actually do the practising of law he'd be okay.

Well, that was pretty fucking good. One of the best episodes of the programme I can remember, talk about a comeback.

Anyone else caught up yet?

Very good episode

Still going for double jeopardy for how this gets dealt with. They said he was being charged for it hacking into the bar, something he's actually innocent of, Lola may get thrown under the bus but Mike would have to be found not guilty in terms of committing fraud by hacking into the bar and then double jeopardy applying.

Also Rachel being angry that Mike could think that she'd leave him, well he'd be away for 88 years and she kissed Logan while they were together....

very strong first episode I thought. Not sure where they'll go with it though, obviously Mike will get off but I can't see a scenario where he goes back to being a lawyer, the above theory about some sort of consultant would make sense. I fully expect them to take ridiculous creative license at some point though so I wouldn't be surprised if he confessed, pinned it on Hardman/Soloff and then went and became a real qualified lawyer all by the season finale which will be THE WEDDING. Yay for TV.

I think Rachel's writing is poor. All she does is cry.

Another great episode. Although, I'm not keen on when every single scene is an arguement of some sort, I'd rather they mixed the tempo up a little bit. Sheila makes sense, even if she does seem to be plucked from thin air a little. Not keen on them making Louis look like shit again, but I'm sure he will have a massive hand in sorting it out as they save the day. I'm still going with Mike not officially being a lawyer but working as a consultant as Ravenbish said, whilst Jessica retires/quits for a life with Jeff and the company falls apart. Be interesting to see how they would work the whole 'case of the week' angle again after that though, what with that being the entire dynamic of the show for this long...

Only 3 episodes left?!?!?!?!

They did the annual 'fall break' on episode 10 of season 5, it just felt like so long between Ep 10 and 11 (it was 4 months or so I think) that it feels like this is a new series, not a continuation of another.

At least they already got renewed for Season 6 in the summer.
