lol mignolet. smashes through a couple of players in utter panic, gets nowhere near it, then cries at the ref for a foul
The ball was in the air for ten minutes and he only has to get round Defoe. He worries me ALL THE TIME.

Yeah. That's what was said. STFU.

It was pretty much yes.

You threw your little toys out of the pram and said you'd give up on football. Despite it being a clear foul.

Embarrassing finishing from Liverpool tonight. How much are those attacking players worth?

Poor game really, although Liverpool should have made the margin bigger in the end.

Sunderland look doomed. They worked fairly hard for the cause, but there is no creativity in the team. All huff and puff and big aimless punts up the field to Defoe.

No, it wasn't.

And no toys were thrown. I pointed out it was a bullshit decision and a sad indication of the state of footballing rules these days. Don't take everything so fucking literally.

Jermain Lens must surely bypass Depay as the biggest flop of the season. Totally out of his depth. One of the worst players I have seen in the premier league.

Not exactly a joy to watch, but the job just about done.

That Ibe miss, that Benteke miss... and then they get a corner a full minute after the added time is up... Can't believe they didn't score from it.

The most unenjoyable win I call recall watching. Still 3 points is 3 points.

Benteke seems to be the worse finisher for the more time he has, quite a lot strikers like that.

If you're playing a Sam Allardyce team away from home you take any win you can get. Hoofing the ball towards Defoen and Borini is a hopeless tactic now, I really hope this is the job Allardyce is exposed in.

Fantastic team effort tonight. Thought Lovren and Sakho were great again. Can't expect to play pretty and win against Fat Sam's team, happy with 3 points.

Indeed. Match winner in 3+ games.

Sakho was much better last night, he seems to be a player that needs a couple of games to get back up to speed after an injury. It has to be said that Lovren has been superb the majority of this season with the only real fuck up being in the West Ham game at Anfield and I think Liverpool have them next. Think that's about 7 clean sheets with this pairing, let's hope Skrtel is out for a while before he comes back, the waste of space he is.

As for the front line it is frustrating when they don't take chances like that and in the previous game and effectively keeping the matches they play on knife edges in fear of an equaliser. They have been more creative latterly which is great and hopefully they'll get sharper and could start to give a few teams a hiding once they get going or Sturridge gets fit (if he ever does).

I've told you already. Don't think of Sturridge as a Liverpool player and if he then by some miracle plays and bags a goal or two it's a nice bonus. If you think of him as an injured player we need back, it becomes a lesson in immense frustration. I stopped doing that months back.

Yeah thats a fair point and was where I was at when he was out for ages again the other week. Its that teasing tweet he did though that gives me hope though, I should just stop listening to him and be pleasantly surprised when he is in the squad for match days.

Bar a couple of poor games Lovren's been solid the whole of 2015 really. His start last season was truly atrocious but he's showing he can be a good squad option.

I have no problem him and Sakho being the CB pairing going forward with maybe an addition in the summer for cover. He looks to have grew 6 inches as well with the confidence he is playing with now.
