Yeah - the players (usually Martial, Lingard or Mata) are making those runs in behind the back four but Carrick is delaying it because he is looking for a simpler, shorter pass most of the time. Frustrating.

A smart finish from Martial and us dominating the possession shouldn't overshadow the fact that we defended like clowns for most of the half - Defoe should have put Sunderland two nil up relatively early on. We're back in it now though and have a good chance of winning the match if we come out and take control of the game from the off in the second half.
