But yeah, I assume this is dead.

But because I'm an idiot who never knows when to fucking stop, while I've got 1FF Wars going, I have to admit... I've secretly been working on an all new and improved Superstar Wars as well.

And the thing is, I've just sat and done stuff with it for like 2 hours, and to be honest I actually think it's ready to go. Like, now.

One big point I want to make though, is that I'm not entirely sure how well it's going to turn out. It's got a pretty damned big twist, and in a lot of ways is nothing like the Superstar Wars of the past. Sort of.

Bare in mind, it's not going to start until 1FF Wars is over (I may be crazy enough to be working on it while running 1FF Wars, but running them both at the same time may be a bit overkill) but yeah, like the day that finishes it will be probably starting up.

But I just want to make sure that I don't go making it happen just as Cas is finally ready for his season, because I assume you at least had something planned for it, right? But yeah, once I know that it's up next, I'll talk about it in more detail.

Think I will change my character name, agree I was (unintentionally) committing gimmick infringement there like Steady said.

I wouldn't worry about that, worth trying new something that could end up in a big farce. If it does, it's no big deal and not like another more conventional season couldn't be run in the future.

And fuck it, I said I was going to wait and see what Cas says before saying more, but basically, the big difference with this one is that... well, how best to put it...?

Basically, in SSW before it's always been treated like wrestling is "real". Like you're upping your stats to get better and win the big fights/titles/ect. But a mixture of reading Mick Foleys book and the different approach of mycareer mode on WWE 2K16 made me think... how about trying out a season of SSW with a more realistic simulation of how wrestling actually works in real life?

So in short, in this new SSW, wrestling is fake, and acknowledged as such. It's not about winning ect, it's about getting yourself over and getting the backing of the people running the company (as well as, obviously, being good enough in terms of your in ring/promo skills). So that's what this one is about. You'll start in the performance center, work your way up through NXT, then into the WWE and into superstardom.

It's more like a proper role playing game (I'm talking real Role playing here, the hardcore nerd shit) than anything else here. It's more to do with interactions with Vince Mcmahon and other wrestlers, which will be done via PM. Making decisions when they come up, and balancing the fine line between accepting what WWE wants from you as a performer and not just letting them mug you off to the hindrance of your career.

There are actual mathematical systems in place to determine how well people will progress and such, but those systems are all going to be totally hidden... you'll only know what you know of the surface. And... that's sort of where the worry about exactly how well it's going to work comes in... I'm not entirely sure it'll be so much down to the decisions and such that players make, or if it's basically going to be more a case of pretty much betting on a wrestler who happens to have your name, making a few small decisions, and just hoping that your guy is more successful than the others.
