I think we can all agree sushi is one of the greatest foods alive.

So tell me, what types of sushi do you like? Do they serve good sushi near your area?

I'm not too sure about sushi in Canada, but I can never get enough of sushi in Peru. My favourite is salmon sushi.

I love sushi. On an unrelated note, when are the thread of the year nominations due?

Pretty sure it's dead.

I've never been able to eat it.. Not because of the taste or anything, more the fact that the people you see eating it appear to be part of a demographic I want no part of.

I've always wanted to go to one of them sushi places where it comes past on the conveyor belt, but I'm concerned that I'm not competent enough and that my self doubt would ruin the experience. I think I'd get flustered by it all and just end up sat there worried that I'd accidentally eaten 500 quids worth, or petrified that the sleeve of my jumper might get sucked into the mechanism whilst I wasn't paying attention, or something else like that. So I just buy it from Marks and Spencers every now and then instead, and make do with that rather sad facsimile.

Maybe, as an experienced sushi scoffer, you could take me and show me the ropes, Lib.

I'm now regretting looking up images for sushi pie so soon after breakfast.

I also discovered that Iggy Pop recommends a Sushi Surprise, rather than roses, for Valentine's Day.

Big fan of Japanese cuisine in general (hadn't tried it until I left Glasgow - we're a gastronomically limited bunch...) particularly the restaurants themselves and the ritual involved in the preparation, service and consumption.

There's a deliberateness about the process; the apprenticeship that the (male only) chefs go through; the serving of the tea; the detail in the presentation that I love.

Quite happy to have chain sushi most nights, but going to a top place like Tenmasa, cocooned in the wooden interior, rattan floors and gentle flow of water, almost elevates the experience to a spiritual level... So yeah... I love sushi.

I enjoy most Asian food, especially Japanese, but I hate seaweed and most fish.

Yeah you don't want to be floundering around at the conveyor belt

Just brought 5 packs that had been reduced to 20p in Tesco, and I'm going to scoff them all at work in a minute. Fucking love sushi, me.
