We have no manager. We have no new signings. We have 13 fit players. We have massive uncertainty over the ownership of our club. We are the least prepared we've ever been going into a new season. We're expected to crash and burn.
We also have a 100% record in our first two games, and our best ever start to a PL season. Incredible. The efforts of Mike Phelan and the players are worthy of massive praise. Hopefully the takeover is sorted this week and Phelan is given the job he's fully deserving of.

I had pondered if Hull would do a Derby but it's clear whatever may be wrong at the club the spirit of the players to do well is still strong. Phelan has to get the job now. They need reinforcements but there's plenty there that says they can scrap themselves to safety.
