Linked with a job at Wednesday, what can we expect if he leaves (be a strange choice for him)

I think Carvahal is being brought in to transform the entire dynamic not just the first team, Cooper will be tasked with helping him, as you say, odd.

You'll have to hope he lasts longer than his 1 year average then! Will be interesting to watch I have to say. Where does this leave Roeder? You've 3 people all with decent and recentish (not so recent with Roeder I guess) managerial experience, surely they can't all have the same ideas!?

Luke Williams is the person responsible for training and tactics, Lee Power/Michael Standing source the players and probably has a bit too much input in who plays.

Could be said Cooper just faces up for the media

Mark Cooper is just a front man for a chairman picking the team and buying the players at Swindon.

Why would anyone want to employ someone who has very little to do with football other than attending press conferences?

Apparently, SWFC are mulling over offering Cooper the job as Head Coach rather than Assistant Manager - something he would definitely consider.

Honestly, I like the bloke, but I very much doubt how much input he had in our team/performances last season.

Not sure SWFC would get what they think it says on the tin.
