calling it now Swindon 4-3 Crewe

atleast 2 goals in the last 5 mins.

Sorry to laugh at your misfortune, but Crewe are hilarious this season. Isn't this like the third time you've blown a lead like that?

Probably,yes.
Just knew when Swindon pegged one back just after h/t what the outcome would be.
Utterly predictable.

What a farcical 90 minutes. Might try and give a more detail later but for now, football is great.

Oh and Crewe's number 6 is not very good.

First 20 minutes we were brilliant - should have been 2 or 3 up - rest of the half, defensively, it was an utter crap shambles.

3 individual mistakes of comic proportions and lucky not to be 4.

Second half we were magnificent going forward incessantly and deserved the win.

Even if we just had a poor defence we'd make the play offs, but with defenders signed from Gerry Cottle's circus we've no chance.

So the board must realise that season ticket sales will crash, so what are they keeping quiet about and why no action, a lot of people dismiss HS2 and the ground being sold, but what else cannot it be, they have acted in the past with Holland and Frauderson, for much less than the run of bad seasons SD has had, so why the silence if not HS2?

so similar to last week gift the opposition a 2 goal lead then comeback and score 4 to win the game, at least we are getting our moneys worth at the county ground 13 goals in the last 2 home games.

Seems like the booing at half time spurred them on again 2nd half.

Joy to watch going forward but better sides than Crewe would bury us with that defending. I can't believe that Williams is unable to fashion a functioning defence after the time he's been at the club.

Apart from the individual errors we were left so short at the back at times. Anyways, it ain't dull!

21 goals between Ajose and Obika now, two real goal threats up front means we always stand a chance in games even if our defence is shambolic.

Well, Sheffield United away next week with their good strikers will show if the 'defence' can actually defend.

Can't keep expecting Ajose and Beeks to get us out of a hole every game.

Ajose is a scoring beast - does very little else but score. Beeks works his socks off every game.

Great combo

Talking of great combo's how does Sally and Helen Flanagan sound from Corrie as a great mother and daughter duo?
I'd certainly be prepared to go into extra-time.

One of the most bizarre games you're ever likely to see. Swindon well on top in the first 10 minutes, should have scored 2 before they finally did go ahead. Looked all set for another heavy defeat at the County Ground as per, but we get a gift of an equalier from Turnbull, cool finish by Inman. After that we got some real confidence and turned things in our favour. 2nd goal was all on Colclough, turned 2 defenders inside out before slotting in brilliantly. 3rd goal was a pacy counter attack. Yes, we countered someone with a bit of pace. Incredible. Turton recovers the ball in his own half, feeds Haber. He rolls his man on the half way line and is away in the clear. He gets into the box, feeds Inman for a tap in. We had a couple of half chances to make it 4-1 but messed them up. Swindon still looked dangerous but didn't fashion anything of note. Not sure if we deserved to be 3-1 up, but it was a ridiculously open game with both sides just deciding not to bother with defending for the afternoon.

Saddest thing is, everyone I was stood with knew exactly what was coming: the inevitable Alex collapse. Least they did it nice and early so as to not get my hopes up. Turton backs off, cross goes too far across the area but Swindon recover it, chip it back in and neither of our CBs react and Obika has a free header, easy as you like. Then, 4 minutes later, Turton backs off again, cross goes in and Nugent heads it past Garratt. Pretty standard stuff, we'd looked a shambles at the back all game. Thankfully, Swindon took their foot off the gas after that. Had some chances, but things evened out and both sides looked capable of snatching a 4th. We blew some chances, they blew some chances. Entertaining game for a neutral I suppose.

But as soon as the board went up for added time, you knew we'd crumble and so we did. Ball comes to the edge of the box, Swindon lad had the time and space to pick his spot, Garratt can't hold it and Ajose stabs it over the line. Not surprising at all.

It wasn't until the last month or so that I've really reached the end of my patience with this group. I thought Turton did ok at the end of last season. Nothing spectacular, but a solid enough option at RB. But my god he's been atrocious this season. Costing us goals on a weekly basis because he fucking backs off all the fucking time. He is fucking useless, needs sacking off now. I'd rather watch Baillie or Kearns struggle in there instead. The 2 CBs can't seem to deal with crosses and were a shambles all afternoon. Bingham is an abysmal footballer, another stellar Davis signing. Fucking garbage. This team has no spine, no backbone, no fight. You wouldn't have thought they were scrapping against relegation, the way they collapse every week. They are a fucking embarrassment to the club, regardless of what Davis is doing wrong. We desperately need a total clear out in the summer. Keep a handful of players(Garratt, Guthrie, Saunders, Fox, Jones, Wintle and Colclough) and get rid of the rest. But instead we're lumbered with overpaid CBs who only play half a season or RBs who are just plain shite. Or a bunch of U21 prospects who have zero chance of making the team. Or garbage permenant signings like Bingham, Atkinson etc. Brilliant.

As for the clueless double act in the technical area, they have become a bigger embarrassment than Steve Holland. At least the board put him out his misery and he didn't start off great and go down hill. But Davis is so deluded, so paranoid, so shot of confidence, ideas and passion its untrue. Just recycles the same lame excuses. Players, budget, refs, missed opportunites, blah blah blah. Still, heading in the right direction eh Steve? This club is a total shambles from top to bottom. An outdated and clueless board who sit there in silence whilst their empire that they spent 30 years building crumbles around them. A clueless manager clings to his job because he either deludedly believes his is the right man for the job or he is just happy collecting his pay check every month knowing full well that he has a job for life. We have a media team that seem to have been bought by the club and daren't ask any serious questions of the club. We have a gutless group of players with no heart, no spirit and no battle in them. We'll be down by the middle of March the rate we're going. but worst of all, we have a large portion of the fanbase who sit there in total silence. Today, there were a few boos, but nothing substantial. A few "Davis Out" shouts, but hardly more than 5-10 people. When will people take their blinkers off and realise the club is in deep deep shit? When we're playing Stockport in the conference north? When Davis is coming out next season claiming we can't compete with Accrington for budget? The board, management, media and fans get what they deserve at the moment, but its no consolation because they think this is acceptable and don't mind being humiliated every week. We are a total shambles and we are in serious trouble on and off the pitch. I genuinely fear for the short and long term future of the club. We are being run by morons and they are being supported by morons. I'm starting to hate this club.

Shouldn't slate fans for supporting their club - there were more than a few boos for our lot for the second game running.

But from the kick off in the 2nd half we got behind the team bloody well and got the rewards. You've always bounced between leagues 1 and 2 - this just happens to be a period when your young players aren't quite up to it. Give it a season or 2 with a new crop and you'll bounce back.

No chance, board keep cutting our budget season after season. Board refuse to sack Davis. We need an external manager which the board won't provide. Not to mention Turton will be our fullback next season and Davis will recruit absolute garbage once again.

Give the job Dave Artell if the board don't want an outsider taking charge. Fuck Davis and Collins.

Graham Mcgarry proved on the radio after the game what complete and utter arseholes Radio Stoke actually are.

Used the quote when arguing with a fan 'the manager can't do anything when the players take to the field'. They can Graham, it's called altering tactics which deluded Davis has proven for the 30,000th time that he is utterly inept at doing.

That's what I really hate about this club. How pally it all is, too much jobs for the boys going on. The lot of them didn't slate Vale fans over Gannon or Stoke fans over Pulis but everyone's mate Steve Davis cannot be questioned without being patronised by any of them. Utter joke.

a. We actually looked pretty good at times in the first half but I don't think anyone was kidding themselves it was anything other than a Swindon breakdown. Everyone knew at half time what was coming. They should have been 3-0 up before they even scored, our first seemed to knock them for six mentally and Inman and Colclough (mainly) took advantage. When Swindon sorted themselves out in the second half we got what was always coming to us.

b. Davis has hung the players out to dry again. Twat. No, they are not blameless and many of them are absolute turd and leeches on the club, but the way he claws into them after defeats (but takes credit himself for going 3-1) without ever acknowledging even an ounce of this situation may be his management is revolting.

c. Radio Stoke. Twats. Graham McGarry and his hissy fit, tying himself in knots trying to defend Davis. Lol.
