Can't be bothered with those 'clever' match thread titles so keeping it like some of the Oxford fans on here, nice and simple.

We had a good win on Tuesday night at home to Rochdale and are unbeaten in 2.

No idea how Walsall are doing this season but they always impress at the CG. I was going to go but decided I couldn't be arsed.

Think it will be 1-1

I wasn't going to go but now I can be arsed!

There's something about a team stuffed with your own youngsters - even if it is forced due to injuries.

If we continue on from the last 2 games I can see it being difficult to how Kasim can get back in the side - ditto Obika, albeit due to continuing injuries.

The hope is that this season we get some experience into these young players to prevent the ever changing squad next year. Apart from Vigoroux there isn't a player who will likely to be in demand for sale, so hopefully we can actually build instead of starting from scratch as usual.

Walsall have always impressed me at the CG in recent years so expecting a hard game.

Usually entertaining games with Walsall, lot of time for them. Quite like their stadium too. They've outplayed us at The County Ground quite a bit recently without always getting the result they should have so expecting them to come here for the win.

Hopefully our new found stubbornness at the back after switching to a back four can enable us to get another win to climb up the table a bit more.

2-1 Murray and Fonz.

Well Walsall couldn't have had a more feeble opponent today. It sounds like they missed a chance to give their goal difference a proper work out.

We are proper shit and no mistake.

Excellent away win, that makes it 1 defeat in 9 now.

What a player Oztumer is, we have replaced a very good number 10, with probably the best number 10 in the division (bar Dack, who isn't ripping up the trees he was last season). Sounds like he got a couple of stunning goals today. Why didn't Posh play him more regularly? Shame for Makris he didn't bury his chance as that could spark something. Nice to see we didn't look blunt without Bakayoko/Jackson again.

Not entirely sure how the game went, but it sounds as though we missed 2 sitters or else it could have been worse according to the Swindon forum.

Comfortably won 2 nil at a canter, should have been 4 if Morris and Makris had put in their near open goal chances.

Oztumer is just insane, what a little player.

Otzumer was unplayable yesterday according to our forum. Would love to have an exciting number 10 like him in our side as opposed to our dull as ditchwater paint by numbers side. Michael Doughty is definitely missed.

Hope you go on to have a good season saddlers, always liked the way Walsall play.

Unplayable with OUR team of limp-wristed lightweights. There is a complete lack of enthusiasm and emotion running throughout the club - management, players and fans.

Anger has turned to laughter at the ineptitude of Williams et al being unable to fashion an even competent side out of, essentially, a decent set of players.

6 wins out of 27 games shows Williams up for what he isn't - a manager. He may well be able to improve a player on an individual basis on the training ground, but he is woefully out of his depth being in overall charge on a day to day basis.

The sooner he's gone the better.

Fully agree Dan. Williams has had nearly 30 games and we have gone backwards. Time for fresh ideas and impetus. Robinson from Franchise?

We all have our own ideas on how the club works on a management level - the concensus seems to be Power recruits as he sees fit and the manager's job is to fashion a team out of what he's given. Not much different to a lot of clubs higher up the food chain who use a DoF in the same way.

Some managers will be happy to work this way, others will say it's their job on the line and therefore recruitment should be down to them.

Let's face it, I doubt Power has a great profile within the game and so we are only likely to attract the slightly desperate out of work manager or the desperate novice willing to be given a chance.

Cotterill fits the bill as to preferred formation etc, but would probably want to be in charge of recruitment - he threw a few wobblies at City due to his perceived lack of appropriate signings.

Otzumer's goals were both unreal. I'll still never understand why Peterborough never played him.

What hype was that? He came from Woking, ffs!

He's your typical Power signing. Nice and tidy, skilful but a vindaloo-inspired guff would knock him on his arse.

He has been OK. Clearly its a step up from Non-league to league 1 and he has been pretty average. Not done anything amazing, but not been useless. The last player we took a punt on from Non-league was Ben Gladwin so he has pretty big boots to fill to be even half as good.

As others have said I have no idea why Posh released Oztumer. 2 very different goals but 2 moments of utter quality. To be honest he has been good since match 1 this season and already has me worried when the vultures will start circling (the joys of being a Saddler!). Good enough for the championship in my opinion.

As for the game I was gutted I couldn't make this one. Sounded a comfortable win and could have been more. I love my trips away to Swindon and cant remember seeing us lose there. Every team has a bogey team and maybe we are Swindons! Time will tell but maybe its a sign that this new team is starting to click.

Delighted to see Oztumer doing so well. Used to love going to watch him at Dulwich back when I lived round there. It was almost surreal watching a player of that quality dancing around a bunch of brickies and builders.
