What with the other 2 playing each other we could sneak back under the radar to top spot with repeat of the reverse fixture scoreline. We have a our 2 stars back and to be honest it is going to feel like some new signings, a midfield of Kasim, Luongo, L.Thompson and Swift is easily good enough for the Championship football. With only Gladwin unavailable we should be looking to win this and win well to make a statement like MK did last week.

Swindon 4 - 1 Barnsley

Get three points at the weekend and we're back in the top two. There's the incentive. Hopefully a big win to boost the goal difference.

As always after a defeat its important to win your next game to stop a blip becoming a poor run of form.

Win this and Sheffield will be forgotten, especially with Yas and Mass returning.

Barnsley seem useless, easy three points for you I reckon.

Not sure kasim and mass will step
Straight back into the side but will be on the bench at least I would have thought.

Barnsley seem a pretty inconsistent side but I would be hopeful of 3 points. 2-0 my prediction.

We need to win this one with two away games after it. Hopefully we can do it.

I'll go for a narrow win, 1 - 0

Impossible for you to be top after these games. Also won't be in top two if you win by one and we lose by one.

Barnsley are surely better than their position suggests but narrow home win nevertheless.

If we do win, I can't figure out what would be the best result from the mk brizzle game.

A draw I guess, to keep them both close?

A win for City would be best.

Put us 2 points ahead of Franchise.

The name of the game is to get in the top 2

Easter will sort it out

Let's win first and worry about the other game once we have 3 points on the board.

I see that Coops has a massive selection problem tomorrow everyone is FIT with Gladwin making a remarkable recovery and Hylton our new Non League striking gem blowing everyone away in training.;)

Fuck me, I didn't realise there were any other games tomorrow apart from the one at Franchise.

Got to be the bench for the Asian Babes.

A good win tomorrow and I don't give a toss what happens at Winklepicker Towers

Seeing as the other thread is locked , the club have made the following statement which means the other thread can now be deleted

http://www.swindontownfc.co.uk/news/article/club-statement-2253139.aspx

The Club has had a winding up petition presented against it, which has been fully paid.

Receipt of monies have been confirmed and we are going through the process of having the petition set aside.

We would like to reassure everyone that there is no danger of the Club going into liquidation and this, hopefully, is the last of a series of challenges arising from the ownership battle that the Club has had to tackle.

Having kasim and luongo back is like 2 new signings in the transfer window. Hopefully they will galvanise the side as I expect Barnsley will try and stifle us, like Doncaster did to great effect.

Looks like we are playing six in midfield today. Good to see Kasim and Luongo straight back in the team but Nathan Thompson being out is a worry as we always look a bit suspect at the back without him.

Foderingham (C), Branco, Stephens, Turnbull, Byrne, Luongo, Kasim, Thompson L, Toffolo, Swift, William

We missed a pen too and good chances. Now Barnsley seem to be coming back into it.

Good win. Always important to bounce back from a defeat with three points, even if it sounded like we should have scored a couple more goals.

Happy with a draw from the other game too. Couldn't have asked for much more today.

Tricky 2 away games coming up now. 4 points would be a dream.

As routine a home win you can get. Barnsley were hopeless.

A comfortable win against a painfully average Barnsley side.

A dodgy 'keeper, four centre halfs as the back four then the rest of the side being a youth team...very odd mix.
