Interesting game here, Swindon are out of form and have no manager. We never win at Swindon. We have had four clean sheets in a row but we have had the news that Reda Johnson is likely to be out for the rest of the season.

Last two games have been nil nils so we could do with a win here. Looking forward to seeing what Joe Cole can do in a Sky Blue shirt.

Team should be:

Charles-Cook
Phillips, Martin, Ricketts, Stokes (or Haynes)
Fleck, Vincelot
O'Brien, Cole, Murphy
Armstrong

Season ticket holder but working this weekend much to my relief.

We've served up absolute dogshit this season and I fully expect a spanking on Saturday on the pitch.

4-0 cov.

What makes this season more galling is that we have yet to play anyone even half decent, some of the teams I've seen have been woeful but still too good for us.

We even couldn't beat Port Vale who supposedly (according to my old man) were the worst side he's seen at the CG for some years.

At least league 2 isn't so northern!

On paper we should win this, but we just aren't scoring.

We are due a goal soon and I'm hoping it Saturday.

We haven't got a great record but I think we'll win! 3-0

Out for the season unfortunately.

The big guy would be playing in the Championship had it not been for his poor injury record.
Aye had it not been for the injuries he'd still be here....

Yeah it's a shame. I can see him being released at the end of the season now because he's probably the highest earner and misses about 30 games each season.

Shame for him, his enthusiasm is infectious.

Turnbull is back. Robert, Louis Thompson and Obika are possibles. We desperately need Obika to be fit so Ajose isn't required to play the lone striker role. If all 3 are back there's a much greater chance of us getting a result.

1-1.

"One Swindon Town fan is so disgusted with what is going on at the club, he has returned his season ticket and club shirt".

Surely, we are the worst side seen at the CG for many years.

You are right, though. The general standard is appalling. If the 3 who went up last season, who were far and away better than the rest of us, can't hack it in the Championship, the 3 that go up this season have less than no chance.

Our starting 11 today would struggle in League 2.

This is exactly the sort of game we'd usually struggle in

Sounds like we were much better today and great to see some fight at 2-0 down. Perhaps this is the catalyst to kick start our season.

Obika and Robert back and hopefully Wes Thomas soon and we can move up the league.

Don't expect much at Wigan next week but nice to see a bit of fight.

I'm so fucked off, I thought the Coventry City of the last ten years had finally flew the nest.
Two nil up and cruising and yet the old skeletons of the past reappear again.
We still have that game in hand against what looks like a poor Barnsley side to get back in the auto pack but I hope we are winning 15-0 with five minutes to go so I can relax.
