Ha, yeah... Crawley should be relatively easy for you... However, we found them incredibly hard to break down and had to rely on a last minute goal! Score early, and you'll win by a comfortable margin.

Crawley did win 5-1 last week...

I watched the goals on the FL72 show and Barnsley gave them all of their goals with absolutely school boy football. And still Crawley did their best to fuck up the chances they were given.

They lost 5-0 at home to Donny the week before and they looked hopeless.

This is almost certainly going to come back and bite me on the ass come 5pm Saturday isn't it

If we can't beat Crawley at home, we are officially fucked.

Well, you couldn't win at our place.

Will be nice to get our 2nd double in a week.

Seriously, we are likely to be a centre half light on Saturday, so if you want to beat us, don't faff about, just press us from the start and we'll probably cave in. Mind you, Edwards, Pogba, McLeod and Fowler are all showing good form at the moment so you never know.

I will be delighted with a point.

I don't know how I am still haunted by that game how we never scored 1 out of 24 shots on goal I don't know

Not anything to do with Crawley but I thought I would post it here, I cannot believe the Oxford mail fell for this one and actually printed this letter :fl::fish::woo:

www.oxfordmail.co.uk/yoursay/letters/11731707.Oxford_United_fans_want_a_winning_team__Mr_Appleton/

I SEE that Oxford United head coach (posh title) Appleton made a comment about the subdued atmosphere at recent home games.
Well, perhaps it’s because the team are rubbish!
Losing at home on a regular basis will upset fans and I am amazed that so many keep turning up.
Some friends and I now go to watch Swindon Town, near the top of League One, scoring lots of goals and with crowds increasing now to 7,000-9,000 there is no shortage of atmosphere at all.
Fans want a winning team and success, it’s as plain as that Appleton!
If Town get promoted then it will only add to Oxford’s decline.

I take it you mean Darren Ward? I assumed we would put a clause to say he can't play against us as part of his loan deal?

Luongo still injured? Also I though L Thompson has been a mainstay in your team this season? Although swift isn't a bad replacement, impressed with what I've seen on the FLS.

Luongo is back training after a slight groin strain but not being risked today. I imagine Louis is being given a rest as he has started almost every game this season. I reckon both will be back in the starting line-up for the Bradford game on Tuesday.
