Home end pretty much sold out for this the atmosphere is going to be rocking on Monday. The games come around so quickly I have only just got over coming out of Brammal Lane on Thursday night after witnessing us win their for the first time in god knows how long. I hope the Blades come out of the blocks and have a go at us as this will play right into our hands. I cant see Cooper changing much to be honest we just have to be patient and counter attack quickly which has brought us success in so many games this season.
Fingers crossed for a good entertaining game and of course a Swindon win:thumbs:

Early goal and it's tie over.

2-0 (4-1 agg) my prediction.

Forgot about the late goal - deary me

Will correct it now :ffs:
 Fair enough

I suppose now I should post something relevant in this thread. Can't see Swindon slipping up here now they are in a good position, but it will be interesting if Clough plays attacking football, highly doubt it though.

It didn't play right into your hands the other night did it that was the only point in the game we were better. But no i don't expect clough to attack you at all his gameplan will be keep it tight and try and nick a goal to take it to extra time.

It did earlier in the season when you tried it at the County Ground:2thumb:

Now that Preston have made the final, I want Sheff U to go through. Would be funny to watch 2 teams with terrible play off records face off in the final, knowing one has to end their bad run.

It would be more the fact that one of them would have to continue which would amuse me.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. If we play PNE in the final it will be a re-run of our PO final Vs Hudds a few years ago. One of us will loose after 11 penalties apiece

Gonna be a cracker! Can feel it in me bones!

We've sold out for home fans, so hopefully the CG will be transformed from its usual morgue-like state.

Let battle commence!

First nerves of the day after being woken up by my lad at 6.30. Half a day at work finishing at 6 then straight to the ground. Got tickets in the Don Rogers to appease the mrs...right in line with the 6 yard box as it turns out, hopefully not foreseeing pens.

First goal is obviously vital. If we score it I fancy us strongly. Got a feeling Obika will net tonight.

Tickets available on the night too for our fans. May be a few swindon in the away end if youve sold out the home stands

Leaving London now. A bit nervy but for me the play-offs have been a bonus this season.

Hope it's a good game and safe journey to blades tonight.

I tell myself that I'd love a Swindon fuck up, but really, if it came down to it - I'd rather Swindon came up with us than Sheff Utd (no disrespect Blades fans.)

The prospect of another local derby, another Southern game on the already Southern Championship map, and the ongoing 'rivalry' for another year or two.

I respect Sheffield United as a club, massively actually - but mainly because of area, 'rivalry' and that bit of local bitterness, I'd rather see Swindon come up.

Which one of you two is more likely to beat those scruffy twats from Preston?

That's who I'm cheering for.

I wonder if Evatt will be in attendance in the oppositions fans section?

Whoever scores first for me, Swindon score it's game over, United get level they will gain confidence and might pick Swindon off on the counter attack.

Lovely being able to put my feet up and relax watching this :2thumb:

Really don't know who I would rather face at Wembley. Swindon would no doubt have all the possession against us but we could pick them off like we did against there reserves and against Chesterfield in the semis.

Sheffield United would probably make the most boring play off final of all time. Both teams waiting for pens

Good luck to both teams and keep us entertained tonight :2thumb:

Funny how we won't be playing any of these teams next season even if one of them goes up, but I'm still looking forward to finding out who gets to the final! The play-offs are great.

Sheffield Utd's midfield is so non-existent compared to Swindon.
