I've recently moved house and don't have the internet set up yet. I'm currently tethering my girlfriends phone through usb and getting the internet that way. I have a Lumia 535, a windows phone, which means I can't tether it via USB. I am able to connect to the internet on that phone via the BT wifi app which comes with the BT internet package. If I were to buy a wifi adapter for my PC would I be able to tether it and access the BT Wifi hotspot thingy on my pc?

Man, I hope Pagnell is around.

My laptop worked on the free bt wifi when we were waiting for our home hub installation.

I connected the wifi up to BT-Wifi-X or Bt-Wifi or BT-Wifi-With-Fon, whichever had the highest signal, then when I went on chrome it would automatically connect to the BT log in page and once logged in I had the internet on my laptop.

Cheers mate - hopefully it should work on my PC too then.

I was lucky my internet provider had a "hotspot" near where I moved so I used the wifi till they set up the line.

So if you're anywhere near Maryland, Steven, try that hotspot.
