I've disliked him since I've been a child. Despised Man United growing up and he was a dirty bastard of a player. Never really took to him as a manager either, comes across like a snidey dick whenever I've seen/heard him interviewed. Then there was that Chris Long thing at the back end of the season. And seeing him smarming all over Ryan Reynolds live on national telly in the build up to Wrexham v Sheff Utd. But apart from that, he's fine.
I didn't see the smarming, but don't forget he was (and probably still is) a Wrexham fan.

He is a prick Hughes to be honest. Always been a right whinging, miserable bastard whatever club he's been at.

I like Bradford though, proper club, enjoy going there.

There's no club I dislike in the division. Don't like Pete Wild and his fist pumps. Don't know why he winds me up so much. No problem with Barrow. His excessive fist pumping on the opening day against us last season really boiled my piss. Fair play to him.
If you think that about Hughes wait until you come across good old Derek Adams, I’m sure the likes of Newport and Exeter fans will give their opinion on him. Never had there been a more unlikable man in football. For Hughes’ faults the biggest positive is he isn’t that bellend.

Adams is a first class arse wipe! and will have a very warm welcome the next time he comes to Dave.

Here’s the rule

in respect of League One and Two Clubs 22 Players of which a minimum of 8 must be a Home Grown Player.

Also U-21s and keepers don’t count towards the 22.

22 senior outfield players is plenty. Nobody should fall foul of that rule.

25 max, isn’t it.
But my point is why is that going to stop Wrexham from buying the league like the Mansfield fan suggested it would?

They can loan out/keep excess on their books beyond the 25 and can basically spend whatever they want.

The eight welsh players might be a problem for Wrexham

We won’t piss it (will be a titanic struggle to just get top 3 by the looks of it) but this won’t be much of a problem. We’ve got space for some signings presently and that’s before 2/3 of the fringe players are also shipped out. We won’t be making wholesale changes, just a handful of upgrades in certain positions.

Nothing that can’t be worked round. Their squad is already promotion standard and they’ll add some big players I’m sure.

Their squad isn’t promotion standard, it’s not far off but that defence needs sorting out.

They’ve got Hayden and O’Connell who were very good at this level previously. Tunnicliffe is decent, Tozer is average but more than makes up for it with the amount of goals his long throws create at the other end.

Doesn’t look like a big weakness to me but they’ll probably splash out anyway.

Tozer was our best defender last season, and probably our POTS after Mullin. Vastly improved from his first season with us - probably because he didn’t need to spend half of the game babysitting Cleworth this time.

In bad news for Tozer, the EFL’s rules for next season include no allowing to dry the ball with a towel.

Easy answer...be inventive...make your shirts out of Chamois leather, like you use to dry your car after washing it, job done!

Yes bad news!

To be fair our throw ins have been pretty ineffective since Hayden got injured in January. Can only think of two goals we’ve scored from them since that game and one was a complete blunder by a keeper.

Swindon v Gillingham in the POs.

Ah, happy memories!
Selhurst Park is in the same bin as the play off final against City.
It NEVER happened.
Now never, ever mention that again.
It never happened.
