It's that time of the year where we dig old Alan Sugar from the back of an Amstrad warehouse, put him in his booster seat and have him gob off at yuppie idiots for not selling enough bacon sandwiches in Euston Station. It can only be The Apprentice! What can we expect? More of the same shite as every year! Awful quotes from the contestants about how much they love money, Karen Brady doing that weird face she does like she's straining for a poo, and the obligatory hot piece of kit who you feel bad for fancying because they are so reprehensible. Anyone else watching?

Alana is my girl this year.

So many awful candidates there this year though, couple of decent ones.

I love the irony this year of Karen Brady lording it up over the numpty candidates lacking common sense, given what a mess she's presiding over at West Ham.

The self named Big K looks like he's due a hard fall at some point in 'the process'.

What was up with that crazy girl who kept joking around almost throwing antiques around?

She is a classic example of a 'hot but crazy' girl.

Karthik started out getting on my nerves but I'm warming to him, even if his Indian style last night didn't really work too well! Still a few in there who don't say or do contribute enough for me (Samuel, Dillon, Frances) but a couple are starting to impress - Courtney, Paul and Trishna doing alright for me.

One thing that annoyed me a little last night is how Karen Brady was a prick to Alana - having a go because she was nice and the bloke she bought from liked her? Then Sugar saying there's no place in business for being nice - dunno about everyone else but I'd much rather do business with someone with people skills than a battering ram of a salesman.

Other than that, I always love that challenge and it was good to give it a twist by having it held overnight.

Courtney to win for me.

We said exactly the same last night - there's nothing worse than a pushy c*** of a salesman; there's plenty of room in business for being nice. Karen is a bit of a prick to be honest, always piping up and trying to make it about her. It was better when it had that old bird and guy doing it. The girl from Chesterfield is really annoying! There's some piss poor candidates this year

Agree with the above and Alana.

Thought the whole point of the task and business in general was to get the best possible price, she did just that. Why does it matter how?

Stupid comment from Lord Sugar 'No place in business for being nice', well there clearly was in this instance matey.

Cannot believe Dillon's completely rubbish event got 100% customer satisfaction. Who are these absolute bellends that pay £50 a ticket and are delighted with THAT?

The process needs more Karthik tbh. Thrilled Paul got booted out, though. Feminist point coming up - how comes when Paul constantly loses his temper and Jessica constantly bursts into tears, only one of them gets called 'emotional'?

Karthik was growing on me, but he was still liable to the really quite offensive statements which did let him down somewhat! Of those left, I think Sofiane will be the next to go, haven't really seen much from him at all.

I miss Karthik, I was praying they'd keep him in until the interview process. Very little charisma left in the show (good or bad).

The boardroom was so uncomfortable to watch last night. On top of Paul back-chatting to the guy he's trying to get money off, he just repeatedly shouted over the women. He was far too emotional, had little social awareness throughout the entire process.

Trishna, Frances and Alana have been the best candidates so far, but there is no clear-cut favourite. Grainne a bit of a dark horse, Rebecca is very good at selling but has been her own worst enemy (lying in previous tasks, undercutting the PM in this week's task). If Dillon gets to the final four, I think he might be the only one with a unique business plan. Sofiane and Courtney are both terrible, particularly the latter.

I think Grainne will win it this year. She's been the best candidate this series but there's not been much competition to be fair. I'd like to see Alana win though as I'd like to do things to her.

Just caught up with this week's- what a complete fuckup, especially from Paul's team. Frances is a complete snake! Warming to Jessica as well. Courtney and Dillon are pretty terrible. Hope Trishna or Grainne win it.

Really enjoying it so far. No real stand-out candidate this year, don't really like Francis or Sofiane. Trishna, Jessica or Alana to win(hopefully the latter).

I've been disliking Paul for weeks. He was really whiny, aggressive and sulky in the previous weeks and generally an all-round dislikeable person. What he did to Jessica was awful. I would argue that it was sexism if I couldn't be sure he would treat anyone in that way.
