I'm trying to keep my feet on the ground, can't believe how well Rovers have done in the last six. It's been a true team effort defending from front to back, breaking fast, picking up lose balls and covering each other. Atm if you try to just defend against Rovers they will grind you down, if you attack they will destroy you on the counter it's going to be an exciting end to the season.

Worried about Monday's game at Carlisle, never an easy place to go. Great result yesterday though, Oxford dropping points brings them back into it too.

Plymouth and Ox have the squad depth we lack, so I still think they're favourites. We've done remarkably well to get into a top 7 spot (probably).

I definatly don't think we have squad depth that's been our main problem when we have had injures the quality hasn't been there to replace them

That's why I've thought that you'll have to go up by the play offs, ever since we turned you over on the algae patch.

Oh well you'll have a fucking field day against us on Monday then!

Unless though, unless our top secret new weapon of a player has other ideas..

Fans have been pretty low key and down to earth about it too, rather than rubbing peoples noses in it, like lots would have.

Are you sure? Because that EricSabin fella and LordiLord have been rubbing it in saying about pissing it and they even talked shit about Plymouth as well.

It's not just that, their fans disrespected our manager Curle when they came up here chanted abuse at him that they were surprised he got picked for England, well he was a very good centre back playing at the top level for Man City so how was that surprising?

Also don't forget they have a player who urinated into a cup and threw it out over a balcony with spectators underneath, yes their club deserves so much credit don't they!

Be prepared for us to draw the hell out of you. 1-1 and your manager will follow every other manager in the world's lead and complain about our long throws in the post-match.

Yep, dunno what Carver's on about tbh. It's not like the Cobblers have been poor but luck's on their side and they still get all 3 points. even so, I can't really comment as they were no great shakes in both games they played us, but still, I would think that was more psychological(this bogey team thing). Just like when we cannot ever beat Crawley for ex.

Watching their match highlights and reading match reports - and opposing fans views - leaves me in no doubt at all that their success is fully deserved. And they hate the Pish too which is a bonus

With our game off we could do with Orient and Wycombe dropping points today.

If Carlisle want to start scoring goals again today that would be much appreciated, shouldn't be too hard seeing as though they've just signed Bingham's spanish cousin Pedro from Dog & Duck FC.

I wouldn't count on us doing you a favour. As I've said before, Pedro would have to be the love child of Ronaldo and Messi to drag this team to any sort of victory at the moment.

Got a bad feeling about today, not sure why, just got a feeling we'll lose. Because of that, I'd take a point

Really? Mate I'm very disinterested in our match against you today because I know we'll get annihilated.

We have absolutely no goal threat anymore and our defence falls asleep half the time.

Well we're 1 down already. We have to drop points eventually and this is our 2nd toughest match left in the season. Coupled that I imagine the squad would have travelled today due to Easter Sunday so that's a long coach journey and a poor nights sleep for the players

I actually thought it was the hardest left, Northampton on verge of promotion means they may slip up once or twice.

Well right now it sounds like we're all over the place. We've made a double sub in the 22nd minute, although this is probably a good thing. Clarke has done this a few times this season when he's got the formation wrong and we've come back so lets see but right now we can't even string a pass together

 Touche.

Ok so game on, lets see how this goes from here then

It will all be us but you'll score all 4 of your next only shots thanks to poor defending, it's the Carlisle way.

I genuinely have no idea which team is going to grab that last playoff place. The win today puts us 4pts behind 7th with a game in hand (Hartlepool next Tuesday), but I don't think it'll be us. Wycombe are 7th at the moment, but I don't fancy them to stay there. Orient have lost a couple of key games recently but there is unquestionable ability in their ranks. Wimbledon have been on a very poor run of form this past month, but are capable of stringing some wins together. Below that, there's a few teams with hopes for a late push.

Next Sat is make or break for us. Away at wycombe. Win and we are in with a playoff shout. Lose or draw and we are done realistically.

I can't see it being us either because we can never find enough consistency, as long as we play as good as yesterday and win a few more games then that won't be a bad end to the season.

I hope it's not Wycombe who get it, they're the dullest team up there.

You'll be suicidal if we do make it. :fl:

So frustrating yesterday, Lundstram's red card effectively forced us to replace a Championship standard midfielder with a Conference one at best. And it showed. Also lost Mullins and Skarz, so probably down to bare bones for Wembley.

Cambridge looked good, should have been winning at half time. Any decent forward would have had at least one. Second half, we had one of the clearest penalties I've ever seen not given. Thankfully the ref applied the same laws of bottling to everything, but I would be interested to know what happened with Wright and the lad that hit the deck like he'd hit him with an anvil, from someone with a decent view.

In regards to Cambridge's playoff hopes, that midfield was good enough - Luke Berry was outstanding yesterday. The young Hull lad was really good too. Defensively bang average, Leon Legge got caught out three times by simple long balls. Keeper's distribution was excellent and Derry's game plan to target Skarz on the break was very sensible. They won't get there this year, but they're not far away. A fit and available Corr all season and they'd be very close.
