Best Opposition Team? Chesterfield, not so impressive at the Proact but were great at Ashton Gate.

Worst Opposition Team? Walsall. 8-2. We were something else second half though, to be fair.

Best Opposition Player? Jabo Ibehre. Bossed it.

Worst Opposition Player? Cieron Keane young back up left back for Notts County got destroyed by Mark Little at Meadow Lane.

Best Opposition Fans? Oldham

Worst Opposition Fans? Coventry. I know they were in the shit at the time but 7k at home only shortly after returning to the Ricoh was a poor effort.

Best Opposition Ground? Deepdale.

Worst Oppositon Ground? Ricoh. Just a bowl and looked worse not even being half full.

Best Opposition Goal? Michael Smith's decider in November was a great goal to be fair.

I had forgotten that was a decent finish. Fair play for selecting that Mr Aaron.

While I think about it, Joe Bryan's goal at AG would be up there in our category also.

Best Opposition Team? Swindon and Bristol City at the Ricoh I was impressed with.
Worst Opposition Team? Port Vale away or maybe Colchester at home
Best Opposition Player? Luke Freeman maybe
Worst Opposition Player? No idea
Best Opposition Fans? Bristol City and for bringing about 800 for a JPT tie, Pymouth Argyle
Worst Opposition Fans? Crawley or Fleetwood. MK Dons away too. Game was on and people were outside queing for Man Utd tickets.
Best Opposition Ground? I liked Bradford's ground. Rochdale too. Dunno why.
Worst Oppositon Ground? Doncaster - Just don't like the place
Best Opposition Goal? Think it was Oldham or Scunthorpe who did a really good passing move and scored at the Ricoh

Ours was a McSheffrey free-kick at the Ricoh so it wasn't us.

Best Opposition Team? Preston. Played really well agaisn't us and i recall they beat us in the end, right?
Worst Opposition Team? Notts County or Wallsall. Both peformed horrendously against us when they came to the Gate.
Best Opposition Player? Matt Done. Tore us apart when Sheffield United beat us. Great player, i hope we sign him in the summer.
Worst Opposition Player? Cedric Evina.
Watch from 0:20
Best Opposition Fans? Wallsall. Brilliant support even when losing 8-2. They also had Wonderwoman in the stand.
Watch from 0:10
Worst Opposition Fans? Fleetwood. Only just got above 100 fans (103 was the away attendance) .
Best Opposition Ground? Mk Dons. Brilliant ground, could be a prem ground if i'm honest.
Worst Oppositon Ground? Only been to one away game this season (MK Dons) so not sure if i'm honest.
Best Opposition Goal? Micheal Smith's. Great goal, which sadly confirmed the league.

Best Opposition Team? Quality-wise Bristol City, tactically Chesterfield, but I refuse to acknowledge the chesterfield conundrum this year so Bristol City for me.
Worst Opposition Team? Crewe, 11-1 says it all.
Best Opposition Player? Luke Freeman was very good, but I have to admit I was very, very impressed with Tom Bradshaw when Walsall beat us 3-0 at home.
Worst Opposition Player? Will Packwood was hilariously bad.
Best Opposition Fans? Nobody comes close to Man Utd, but as I'll stick to the league I'll give a mention to Yeovil away, relegated but where really in a good spirit, were fairly loud considering we were amazing that day, but Bradford City were incredible at their place so I'll give this to them. I wasn't impressed with Bristol City at our place tbh.
Worst Opposition Fans? Coventry were bad, but because of that bloody cow bell and their lack of numbers in every case, Crawley Town.
Best Opposition Ground? The Ricoh is nice, as is the Keepmoat, but my favourite trip this year was to Notts County.
Worst Oppositon Ground? Scunthorpe.
Best Opposition Goal? Can't think of too many, but I think I remember Fleetwood's goal against us at home was fairly good.

Only done home games this season apart from Dale away, and missed a few home games, so forgive me.

Best Opposition Team? Didn't go to the Bristol game so I would have to say Scunthorpe weirdly, they were only ones who put us under pressure for the entire second half and it was ridiculous how they didn't beat us.
Worst Opposition Team? Without exaggeration Sunderland and Millwall were both truly awful in the cup. In the league, probably Crewe.
Best Opposition Player? Obika had a good game on his debut for Swindon, so why not. Not many stand out really.
Worst Opposition Player? Crawley's keeper.
Best Opposition Fans? Coventry first game of the season were impressive. Sheff Utd and PNE filled it, would be shocked if they didn't.
Worst Opposition Fans? Fleetwood, awful.
Best Opposition Ground? As mentioned above, didn't do any away games this year. Best away ground in this league is still Deepdale for me though.
Worst Oppositon Ground? Worst ground that I've visited in this league is Fleetwood, it's got a clubhouse on the side of the pitch like a NCEL team FFS.
Best Opposition Goal? Curtis Main scored a decent goal against us for Donny.

Best Opposition Team? Probably Bristol City. Beat us 3 times at Priestfield and never really looked in trouble in any of them.
Worst Opposition Team? Crewe back in August. Hideous.
Best Opposition Player? Sam Clucas. Scored against us home and away and was a real thorn in our side.
Worst Opposition Player? Hayden Mullins was quite funny to watch on the final day for Notts.
Best Opposition Fans? Coventry at the Ricoh.
Worst Opposition Fans? Crawley. Always Crawley.
Best Opposition Ground? Didn't get to many this year, but from past experiences it's Deepdale.
Worst Oppositon Ground? Scunthorpe is shite.
Best Opposition Goal? Matt Smith's 4th for Bristol City in the JPT. Belter.

Best Opposition Team? I'd have to say MK Dons, two good teams both going for the win and cancelling eachother out.
Worst Opposition Team? Peterborough. Just awful, god knows how they nearly made the Play Offs.
Best Opposition Player? Lewis Price. Had a stormer against us!
Worst Opposition Player? Branco. Next question!
Best Opposition Fans? Toss up between Bradford or Oldham. At Ashton Gate, Oldham only brought about 500 or so but sang throughout the 90 minutes. Bradford have probably the best home support in the league, even when they were 6-0 down to us, they kept going. Also the majority of them stayed until the end to applaud us. Respect
Worst Opposition Fans? Hmm take your pick really. Either Crawley or Crewe
Best Opposition Ground? It was my first visit of the MK this season and I was very impressed!
Worst Oppositon Ground? Swindon. Just pure filth! I also had to piss in a turnstile as they had two ports for 2,000+ people.
Best Opposition Goal? Jermaine Mcgleshan for Gillingham. That was difficult to find any!

Best Opposition: Missed Bristol City as on honeymoon, 1st 20 minutes Swindon annihilated us at our place but I,d plump for Chesterfield 5-1 over the 2 games thoroughly mullered us.

Worst opposition : Yeovil 4-1, how it wasn,t 8 or 9 is a mystery , simply awful
Best Player : Swift from Swindon think on loan from Chelsea? Made game look a doddle. Close 2nd Gary Roberts.
Worst Player: The new born foal Christian Burgess from Posh absolutely dreadful defender .
Best Fans: Sheff Utd at our place Boxing day
Worst fans: MK Dons just over 300 and as quiet as a mouse, says it all when Crawley only brought 34.
Best Ground : Coventry, but best away day Notts County
Worst Ground: Colchester based purely on shocking location and half hour walk to find parking.
Best Goal: Dean Cox Leyton Orient away lost 3-1 absolute bullet.

Best Opposition Team? MK Dons at Oakwell, took the piss out of us for 80 minutes before letting us score 3 out of sympathy
Worst Opposition Team? Crewe at Oakwell were awful
Best Opposition Player? Nathan Byrne for Swindon, Izale McLeod merked us in both games for Crawley too
Worst Opposition Player? No outfield player stands out so I'll go for Paul Rachubka for Crewe because as soon as he came on to replace their injured keeper I said to my mate he'd drop a clanger, and he duly dropped the ball into his own net from the next corner of the game. What a div.
Best Opposition Fans? No-one was particularly good at Oakwell except maybe Preston on their come as Charlie Chaplin day, but Bradford at Valley Parade were superb
Worst Opposition Fans? Fleetwood at Oakwell. New ground for them, not too far away, subsidised coach travel and in the middle of an impressive season and they could only muster 89. 89 ffs. Didn't even seem bothered they were winning at such a famous, revered old club. Probably in awe tbf.
Best Opposition Ground? Stadium MK, whilst soulless, is fantastic. Comfy seats, spacious concourse and actual hot water in the bogs. Top class.
Worst Oppositon Ground? Of the ones I went to, The County Ground. Crumbling, green algae/mould on some of the walls in the away end, the home end behind the goal had a weird green/red theme going on and the other, empty end looked shite as well.
Best Opposition Goal? Jordan Cook's first for Walsall against us at their gaff, the away end uttering "fuck me" in unison followed by grudging applause for an absolute wonder strike.

There's a huge car park literally across the road from the ground with a park and ride if you can't be assed walking 300 yards...

Best Opposition Team? - Weirdly, I'm going to say Doncaster, I thought they played really well at Deepdale and we robbed them with a last minute equaliser.
Worst Opposition Team? Crewe, pathetic defending
Best Opposition Player? Eion Doyle, clinical
Worst Opposition Player? Any one of Crewe's defenders
Best Opposition Fans? Bradford's home support is very good
Worst Opposition Fans? Crawley, brought about 50 fans on a Saturday afternoon
Best Opposition Ground? Valley Parade has plenty of character, decent
Worst Oppositon Ground? Colchester's is as generic as they come
Best Opposition Goal? David Ball for Fleetwood, great technique

Best Opposition team? MK Dons on the last day were light years ahead of us. They could've put 10 past us if they fancied it.
Worst Opposition team? Not only for the fact we did the double over them (embarrassing enough), but the match at Boundary Park ended Oldham 0-4 Yeovil.
Best Opposition player? Honourable mention to Dale's front three who tore us apart at home, but has to be Carl Baker.
Worst Opposition player?
Am I allowed to pick Radamel Falcao? Just awful in the cup game, didn't have a kick. In the league, seeing as I can't pick any of Yeovil's abysmal (now thankfully ex-) players, Hayden Mullins was utterly terrible.
Best Opposition Fans? Portsmouth in the JPT were very impressive, but considering the shit they've put up with this season Leyton Orient fans were great in both games.
Worst Opposition Fans? Bristol City at Ashton Gate on Boxing Day were silent.
Best Opposition Ground? Preston's Deepdale has always impressed me when I've been.
Worst Opposition Ground? The Keepmoat in Doncaster is the definition of soulless and miles from anywhere useful.
Best Opposition Goal? Conor Hourihane's 25 yarder early on in the season couldn't have been more in the top corner.

No doubt we've been through more shit than most but our crowds are still pathetic.

I'm the first to complain about them, so I agree they are pathetic.
There are many reasons for them being low though.

How is it every comment I make you seem to have an issue with Tom? Firstly as I hadn,t pre-booked on their car park I was left driving around industrial estates to find somewhere, we got back to the car at 5-30 having negotiated a partly built dual carriageway in pitch darkness, nothing near to the ground food or pub wise and it,s a PERSONAL opinion, nothing against Colchester. Just feel these new grounds are cop outs away from civilisation and soulless. The football experience to me is about the whole day not sitting on a retail park next to Toys R Us or an Asda superstore. And the park and ride would of taken me exactly where considering I was in a car and no intention of going into town.

That's because our away support is class, we get rid of all those who turn up for the prawn sandwiches at home games
Lol class ? surely not, 66 to Oldham and just over 300 to our place is not class and neither was the noise, class against Man Utd maybe but in the bread and butter games I think not.

Quite a few fans of other clubs have had MK fans as the best, as you alluded to in a previous post it's their PERSONAL opinion.

If you considered the away support across the season, MK Dons would be nowhere near the best.

They might be the best at a few games, but they take some awful followings.

It is all about opinion, it,s all relative to the date of the game league placings etc, I,d say our best away atmosphere was Notts County where 90% of our fans were beered up and we had a cracking day. Yet we went places like Bradford and probably barely any singing from us lot. My choice of MK as worst away was based on following ( only 5 games left ) and noise ( Nil ) ,sure MK had good day out at Cov as relatively close . Local games or games against decent away followings are generally going to be classed as good. Every season we sell out for Crewe 2200 whatever our league position but it,s generally crap and wouldn,t be on my top away day out list.

Definitely, because one of the other Port Vale fans on here had us as the best set of fans to visit Vale Park this season
