Yes and no, but more no than yes.
Tranmere and Liverpool met regularly during the Second World War in the various war leagues. Some statiticians include these fixtures as first class games, others don’t.
For the record, P18W3L15
Thanks

Well, I'm not expecting us to go up (and still to less to go down) this season, but, presuming Bolton avoid relegation (and frankly I still think those places have Southend's and probably Oldham's name engraved on them), I am looking forward to a trip to the genuine splendour of the Reebok/Macron/whatever stadium next season.

My money would be on Bolton doing what their long-standing local rivals, $alford, did last year, and getting in some quality new players in the winter transfer window, and ending up mid-table after an honour-saving late-season run.

Gonna be fun seeing Harrogate beat em, though....

I guess there may not be any relegation from Lge two this season. However maybe we should just warn our friends from the non-league forum that masi51 will probably be giving it large on that forum next season, now wouldn’t that be :fl:.

No, we could have been three up against Fleetwood before they equalised, and waited until the 90th minute to get the winner just to annoy Joey Bart...

...hang on, this is the League 1 thread, isn't it? There's a distinct lack of Horwich blethering on here so I got confused :)

Very disappointed. Just watched Top Gear do a half hour slot in Bolton. We visited the roughest pub in town, an industrial estate, some two up two downs and Bolton market. But not one second on the world famous Bolton shopping centre, acres of it apparently owned by Bolton FC.

Blethering - haven't heard that in ages but a great word.

4 straight losses, how is this possible? I was repeatedly assured in Masi's 912 posts over the last 9 weeks that this Bolton squad were league demolishing worldbeaters?

I'm very confused.
just come out....you will feel much better

We won't be here next season, we're on our way into league 1 - Then again, you'll be in the national league so there'll be a pretty big gap between our forums.
