Maybe it's just you're on a poor run and its led to others catching up. Who's to say you won't then go on a good run and pull away again. There's only Luton who are head and shoulders above everyone else.

This might well be the case and we were never going to maintain our form from the first couple of months, but the fact it’s coincided exactly with us changing line up and formation means that Nolan’s opened himself up to shouldering the blame for it.

Notts County weren't great but we have to take some credit for that as we were absolutely brilliant on the night.

Should have been at least 3.

Thought we played very well the other night and 1-0 flattered Notts heavily. I love the fact Dunne has us playing such an attacking line up at home - the pairing of Dunk and Halliday at full back is now working properly, and bringing Carroll on just freed Dunk up to attack when he started to get weary. Even O’Neil was playing a lot further forward and looked “freer” in his play.

Probably the only complaint is that we didn’t finish it off earlier but there you go. We’re winning and playing nice stuff which is a far cry from a month ago.

Actually feeling really positive about it all for a change!
