He's just a cheap left footed Sodje...No thanks!

Our flicker likes to sign left backs...He has signed 6 in 18 months...and Goalkeepers..5 in 18 months....and and and...Bascially..the minute they don't have the correct "synergy" they are BYE BYES..

He won promotion...if he had not he was BYE BYES himself! He will be given a target of play offs this term

There is no chance of Bury reaching the play-offs in 2015/2016.

There's a lot of swings and misses and hoofs in to touch when he looks like he has miles of space.

Heroic, what a legend. I remember him doing a slide tackle near the half way line in our own half at Layer Road once and it flew so hard it went over the roof behind the other goal haha.

Stranger things have happened. Clubs that go up Can have the momentum to go up again. A la Rotherham.

Heard a bit op about the finances at Bury. Sounds like it will all end in tears big time.

We have ourselves done this before...96/97 was it..fwom memoweee!

We can only but hope that Flickers is humble enough to understand his mistakes.....rather than blame players (as it appeared last term)

Ah yes.......but "football is a funny old game" (jimmy Greaves circa 1988)

The target will be minimum play offs....The expectation will be mid table.....what can happen? Bury were favourites for relegation under Mr Ternant...The odds are sometimes changed by a bounce of a ball

Bury will do that thing where a club signs loads of new, 'name' players and then fails spectacularly.

Well considering all Bury fans would be happy with mid table consolidation I can't see us failing spectacularly.

For what it's worth, I don't even want Pope.

Leon Clarke is certainly a 'name'.

For the record, I'm not fussed if Pope leaves. Injury prone and ageing. Definitely wouldn't want to see us matching his wage demands.

He's had a poor season and who knows how he'll react to that.. Even so one BIG player hardly equals to loads.

Even if we sign Tom Pope, he's another standard league one striker. Nothing more.

If Pope wasn't Vale I doubt our fans would be as divided over him staying/going. He's had 4k a week out of us for 2.5 years which considering his injuries and off form certainly last season I'm not losing sleep over it. If we can get two half decent players in for that one wage i think it's sensible.

As for Bury seems they are spending and haven't learnt the lessons from the past (didn't our players donate some of their wages in 2001/2002 time for them?) but that's their problem. I just wish we'd had our administrations as a result of buying success rather than why we did!

We cannot control our club, it is managed/ owned by people who are more secret than a secret thing in secret land eating a secret kebab...
What we did do, early on, was make them aware that we could influence their plans by using the media, social media, the council, and getting them to eventually talk to our fans trust, hold an AGM, hold the promised fans forums and remind them of every timeline fall down on promises. (I am grateful to the Vale boys for the Perry Deakin info etc)
This "curiosity" continues, but in a more stealthlike form from where it was.
The BT 10 i believe are still discussing things, although i distanced myself from them some time ago due to their "peoples front of Judea" style discussions.
It was seen that a clear divide was being formed between the concerned fans, and those who just did not remember the past without blinkers, a decision was made to let "sleeping dogs lie" whilst still being aware and gathering any info/ contacts that may be of use further down the line.
Since that point there is nothing more that can be done by supporters, until a time when and if needed.

This may all end in tears....or we could have the new model for lower league Football..........only time can answer that question.

Oh phishing at it's worst..This FRED has some valid points. The fact you have used Sire Spirite as a handle should be more concerning to the pwoppa Chessie fans like Zeus and the original sire spirite.

I think you forget Chessies own issues...and i suggest you take a serious look under the rug before you raise your amoeba proteus penis (look it up) to piss in here again.

All the best for your puberty

You're signing some standard of players. Proven at this level.

The question is, will Flicker know what to do with them?
