Yep I would take it too. We'll miss Mayor but we'll go back down to League 2 without the quality of Pope or someone of his ilk.

Agree with above, I wouldn't have minded Solcombe from Scunny but I think he's gone to Oxford now, we need to get moving with this IMO.

I'm sure it is the priority.

As good as he is, I wouldn't weep if Mayor went for a decent fee. This window is likely to be the time when Bury can recoup the most for him, particularly if he starts the new season on fire.

I've got a 50 pound bet on that Bury will be back in administration within 3 years. Leon Clarke 3 year deal. :ffs:

You're gonna look so stupid when it happens in 5 years not 3.

Lidl are building at the bottom of Ainsworth Rd ... would they have the need for another store. More importantly... whatever happened to Netto?

I don't think they did very well so ended up closing them. There is one which is part of Sainsburys at Heaton Park.

Glad Sedgewick is staying at the club. Top class guy.

My childhood hero. Can't believe he was still playing last month. He was playing for us regularly when I first started going in 1998.

Looks like they got out of the game at the wrong time!

The resident shopping expert in this house says most of the Nettos were taken over by Asdas and re-branded along the lines of the Tesco Express type of shop. Apparently.

I wouldn't know myself - I only go shopping for Black Pudding and ale.

Yep.

Basically Asda bought the remaining Netto UK stores from Dansk back in 2010. Sainsbury’s are now in partnership with Dansk in bringing Netto back to the UK.
