Some of you may be aware of a thing called The Premier League Game which is run by Munkiki up in the PL section. For those of you who aren't, basically each week you choose from a selection of scenarios involving the upcoming week's fixtures, and score points based on the liklihood of them occuring. So these might relate to a specific game (a result; a team to keep a clean sheet; a player to score a goal) or they might be more general like "more home teams to win than away" or "at least one side comes from behind to win". Each week there are 26 scenarios to choose from ranging from A to Z, and you have to pick 6 of them
Anyway, I'm absolutely shocking at this game. And so I got to thinking, it might be nice to have a Championship version, that might be more of my natural level. And so, THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME is born.
This would usually last over the course of a whole season, but to gauge interest and see if I could actually feasibly manage to run the thing I thought I'd give it a little trial run for the last few weeks of this. So we'll have 3 rounds for the last 3 games of the season and then a final round for the playoffs. (unless of course literally no one replies in which case it will collapse and die and I'll slip away head bowed in shame. Hopefully that doesn't happen
