I preferred the reply before the backup restore, about moving it to league one next season! :)

Leicester always used to batter us in here and now it seems we can't beat Forest so maybe we should include the west midlands.
It's a good job we're doing alright in the proper league table because we have always sucked in the East Mids one!

I agree. So again...

Can this be moved to League One next season for the Forest and County fans?

2 years and 10 months after an horrific injury at Pride Park against Forest, Shaun Barker has returned to full training.

I'm amazed. Never thought I'd see the day. I'm still sceptical we'll ever see him play regularly again, but to get to this point is phenomenal. A cameo on the last day of the season would be amazing!

Good to see George Thorne in the background too.

I don't care if I'm talking to myself...

Shaun Barker played his first 45 minutes of football in almost 3 years today, when he played for the U21's. Thorne played 86 minutes, and could feature on Saturday.

Unbelieveable he's made it back this far. Sceptical that he will have the quality to make it back into the first team but who knows.

I doubt it, but can you imagine the reception WHEN he makes an end of season cameo appearance!

Forest fans delirious after beating 21st Brighton and 8 points off safety Wigan at home. Pearce would've probably got 4 points from those at least.

Assombalonga stretchered off with a suspected dislocated kneecap. Which doesn't sound much fun.

The're going to make the playoffs the way they are acting, wait until they play some sides that are the slightest bit decent.

Great to see Barker back, you don't see many people keep that determination for so long to get back. Be great to see him get a cameo on the last day at home infront of a full house! That would be a special moment.

As for Forest, just shows how bad Pearce was as a manager. There's no doubt there's some good players in that team and its shown in just 2 games how much he underachieved with them. He should have gone weeks ago.
It's alright saying they've come up against two of the poorer teams teams but you only have to look back a few weeks vs Millwall and see how badly they failed then.

Not sure how true, but was told last night that Shaun was determined to play some competitive football again and he will (if able), play some part in the 1st team squad towards the end of the season; providing we don't have anything to play for in the game - he'll get on.

From there, he'll announce his retirement on injury grounds, enabling the club and Shaun to receive a pay-out from insurance taken out on him.
Plans are there to bring him into the coaching team.

I see Forest's Assombalonga dislocated his kneecap the other night. Bloody hell must that hurt. Serious injury that, I can think of a few players who have retired having never full repaired.

They'll blame injuries stopped then from getting playoffs now, although it is a harsh injury.

That's one of the injuries that Shaun Barker had. In one challenge, he dislocated his knee, tore his medial and posterior cruciate ligaments - hence the reason for him being out for nearly 3 years.

George Thorne to start or come off the bench on Saturday. Looking forward to the roar when he comes on!

Horrible this as it probably means he's done for next season too once you consider he'll have to slowly work his way back.

Best of luck to him, career-threatening stuff for a 22 year old is very sad.

A ruptured patella tendon, dislocated kneecap and damaged knee ligaments...jeeeesus.

If it's similar to Barkers it will be 2+ years most likely, so could even miss the season after next, at least some anyway.

Barker was initially given a year too. 3 years later he's making his return to the U21's. I still very much doubt we'll see him playing regularly ever again.

Hope Assombalonga makes a successful recovery from this.

Not nice to see any player suffer an injury of this extent. Hopefully makes a sound and speedy recovery.

I have dislocated my kneecap and was playing football and cricket again after 4 months. I got lucky though as my kneecap missed all the ligaments and cartilage.
