Very disappointed in Ireland. Good first half, really poor second half. Back to playing hoof ball with a real lack of quality going forward. We got desperate as soon as Scotland scored. Needed to stick to the basics rather than panic. Also have to say i feel O'Neill got his team selection wrong. How Shane Long doesn't start is beyond me, easily our best striker.

Just watched some highlights. Bendtner set up Denmark's opener with a Giroud style first touch assist.

Definitely would have taken a draw before the match so even with a few missed chances I'm happy with that. 6 points from Faroes and Hungary in the next double header and we should be there. Unbelievable.

Very much hope all four Home Nations make it. And I'm delighted to see ROI likely to miss out.

Greece though...seriously, just what the fuck is going on with them??

Well Williams & Allen would stroll into the majority of top European nations squads so that's a silly statement to make.

Anyways you're missing the point (very English mistake to make) We're not the UK's best footballing nation because we have an abundance of better players. We're the best because we have an ethic & identity that embodies streamlined efficiency, insatiable dedication to achieve & pure unadulterated swag to play the best nations off the park.

I do enjoy Wales Brought To You By Vauxhall's brand of football. In Gareth Bale Insignia Concept 2008 they possess a genuine luxury grand tourer, in whose slipstream flourishes the turbocharged Aaron Zafira Ramsey, whose versatility and engine power makes him an extremely reliable people carrier (although sadly his dimensions exceed the limits of the Japanese market, meaning buyers in that country are liable to additional taxes).

Wales! Vauxhall! Cars! Vauxhall!

Still strong. Still together.

With Vauxhall Motors.

Pretty much this. We have good bantz with Scotland, Wales and NI (ok, most people can't tell the difference between them and the Republic as they both play in green (I think)) but Ireland may as well not bother. Unless we draw them in the group stage or something and beat them 5-0. I can see a lot of animosity the next time we meet regardless.

Going to be very close. I can actually see the Faroes game being very tough. Their confidence is at an all time high at the moment after doing the double on Greece. They've been very close in all of their matches really with odd goal defeats to Romania and Hungary. It's one I could see a potential slip up in if Northern Ireland aren't careful. I think Greece will have a big say on who qualifies as they have to play all of the top 3 yet and have good enough individuals to beat any of Romania, N Ireland and Hungary if they're on it. Very difficult to call the top 2.

Germany and Poland will finish first and second in their group. Scotland have to win 3 of their last 4, including beating Poland to take 2nd place really. The Irish aren't good enough at all.

Only overconfidence can cost Wales now really. There are enough points and teams facing each other between them to ensure only a ery poor last 4 games can stop them. They will surely beat Andorra at home and then you're looking at a win over Israel, Cyprus or Bosnia somewhere.

Can't believe Clyne and Walcott don't start, one of Roys least inspiring team selections for me!

We will probably win 5 0 now I've said that.

That is a really low quality team, tho. Interesting to see Gibbs in. Is everyone else injured?

(Not that I think Gibbs is bad, just surprised because I thought he was way down the pecking order).

Or losing a couple of key players to injury. If they lose Bale and Ramsey in September for example(which could easily happen), they are likely to be in trouble. Hell, if they lose just Bale they'd be in trouble.

Clyne must have shagged Hodgson's daughter. Not included in the WC squad over Glen Johnson and is now starting on the bench behind Phil Jones. :ffs:

That old twat really needs to fuck off. He's absolutely clueless. England never change, we always play the same way and have the same way of playing with the same players.

He's a proper footballing dinosaur, just look at the little things like our full backs, most managers will play attacking full backs, not our manager, he plays a fucking centre half there who's slow as fuck. We should be building for the World Cup in 2018, that's what everyone was saying when we got knocked out of the last world cup, we need a new era of players etc, but how many of these players will be there in 3 years in Russia?

The top nations have a stabilised squad, they all know how each other play and have a good understanding because of it, Roy just gives caps our for fun and changes the team every 5 minutes. Get Neville in, he's the best coach we have, we need to move with the times.

We'll probably win tonight but my point still stands, fuck off Roy.

Okay :bl:

I think Wilshere is comfortably England's best midfielder currently and furthermore it's criminal that he's been sacrificed recently playing him deeper to allow the likes of Henderson, Milner and Delph more freedom.

That is a really low quality team, tho. Interesting to see Gibbs in. Is everyone else injured?

(Not that I think Gibbs is bad, just surprised because I thought he was way down the pecking order).

It's certainly surprising as Gibbs hasn't played much football and looked rusty on his rare outings for Arsenal. Although he only lost his place through injury and then Monreal started to perform for the first time and Wenger couldn't droop the Spaniard after that.

Also none of Englands other left back options are outstanding. Baines, Bertrand and Gibbs are all more or less equal and I doubt Woy really knows who he wants there.

Bertrand was in the Premier League team of the year.

Can't believe people don't rate Wilshere, he's techincally our best player. We should build a team around him.

Bertrand was in the Premier League team of the year.

So was Coutinho and Ivanovic. I wouldn't have put either in there.

Bertrand had a decent season, but he's in no way shown he's on another level to either Gibbs or Baines yet.

EDIT: For the record. I'd start Bertrand myself, I was just explaining why I think we've seen a bit of rotation at left back.

i am a neutral
having a look at the 23 man squad today i am very pleased except for the inclusions of henderson, sterling, lallana and milner. we dont have a bad squad but when you see joker wastes of space like that it really makes you shake your head in disbelief absolutely no doubt about that.

Townsend? Fuck off Roy, such an uninspiring manager. Sterling should have been dropped too. Him saying that players won't be dropped for a poor performance sends out the wrong message, people should have to play for their position.

Wilshere deep again too...

9/11 correct. Clyne should be starting as should Theo instead of Sterling. The rest are justified and when you look at our bench, you can't really say any of them should be in ahead of others.

We are missing a few though. Carrick, Sturridge, Welbeck, Stones, Kane, Shaw, Baines whilst Ox misses out through lack of playing time.

Them 8 make the squad look a whole lot better really.
