Hartlepool at home, got to be happy with that.

Surely we can't play as badly as we did against Stevenage and win. Billy Paynter should get a decent reception from our fans.

Are Oldham as shit as the league table suggests? If so, I reckon we've got a decent chance of turning them over.

They beat us, but we're shit too.

So yeah, they aren't good.

Missed it thankfully but Jones will be back as should Forrester so will have more firepower available.

Winnable though

We're one of the highest rank sides in it, they should all be winnable. Some are just less winnable than others and MK Dons at home is hardly what I imagine when I think of the 'Magic of the cup'

You are right though, would much rather be playing them at home and after beating a much better side in the previous round, have to fancy our chances.

Whitehawk or Stourbridge away. Think we have got a good chance of being one of the televised games.

Taunton or Barrow at home. Decent draw if we can get past creepy.

I think we'll fancy our chances against Oldham, and perhaps a decent shout for TV. Lincoln Xmas Market that weekend (Thur-Sun), which we're generally away for, so if there's a sniff of TV interest then I think we'll be ushering them down the Monday night route.

yep, side ways, sideways, backwards, lose the ball, it really has been football for insomniacs, our Horlicks sales at the club are now zero!
To be fair Friday night was a little better, but not a lot, with such a youthful side they have to a certain extent lost confidence and are frightened to make a mistake, and to put the right ball through, hence the passing across the field and back again.
Hey , but its nice to be in the draw for the second round if only to the replay, which I'm not to confident we will win!
Commiserations on that. Was quite painful to watch at times and everything seemed a bit too out of a manual and an idealistic approach.

Curzon Ashton or Westfield v us or Wimbledon is decent. Certain TV game you'd think. No chance we'll beat Wimbledon though.

Gas vs Taunton.. Would be a great tie! And there might actually be City fans in the away end for real! :D

Suspect nobody stayed with Fleetwoods game at Southport and apologies for the pain and suffering inflicted on viewers. Absolutely horrendous game.

Depends on your view. If you were expecting to see a decent League 1 side playing then you'd be massively disappointed, if you wanted to see a non-league side try to play decent football and give a Football League team a fair game then it may have been alright to watch.

on paper it sounded like a hideous game.. Sounds like it lived up to the billing then. Was it goalless?

Yes goalless and still would be had we been playing now. Tuesday night well the expectations are that will be a very different affair, well from our side. Southport did a very good job against the odds but shit games a shit game, non league or otherwise. BT wont be at Highbury Tuesday I guarantee that.

Still no date announced for our trip to bolton which gives me the bad impression it could be on tv. What an awful pick for TV if it is.

Lincoln vs Oldham on TV on the Monday night. TV or not, it would have been played on the Monday night anyway IMO.

Place your bets then, which non league outfit will knock Swindon out of the FA Cup this year. Eastleigh, Dagenham or Halifax.

There's no way we're beating two non league sides in consecutive rounds at home.
