What do you need in the Janaury window?

I think here at Norwich we really need a commanding centre half. It's by far the weakest area of our team and so often looks disorganised, if we can find someone to fill that role I think we'd start to really fly.

A left winger would be nice as well. We only really have Josh Murphy and he is a little raw to be starting every game which means Lafferty has been starting there and he's wasted on the wing.

Striker, striker, striker.

Steve Clarke looks like he has fixed the mess of our defence now, but if we can't score up the other end then we're not going to win. It has been a problem for us all season that the team is only capable of either attacking or defending. Very few games did we do both parts well and our Goals Against column shows that.

Currently our only out and out striker is Pavel Pogrebnyak, just come back from injury and ideally a player we want to move on. Glenn Murray was only ever going to be a short term loan realistically so i'd hope that the club didn't put all their resources solely into Murray and not look up other options.

Sign a decent Championship striker and we'll naturally move away from the relegation fight. Fail to sign one and we are still close enough to get dragged in.

Problem is that strikers seemed to have tripled in value over the last couple of years. At a time where we have no strikers and no money..

A quick defender would be lovely. Big fan of our centre halves but we've been found out by quick balls over the top a lot of late, and another option with a left foot would be great (helps when playing out from the back)

Another striker is a must. We must have bid on 5 or 6 £2m+ strikers without success so far, so we are clearly willing to spend the money, just difficult to convince someone to come in of the quality we want. If Gray gets a long term injury, we are screwed and will drop down the table very quickly.

Otherwise, there's a couple of players who could be moved out, a couple of loans to get more game time would be welcome.

It's hard to discern whether the board are overseeing a controlled relegation or if we're actually taking survival seriously, so I'm not exactly sure what we need. If everyone at the club thinks survival is extremely improbable, then I'd rather we didn't go mad signing players in the next fortnight. Twenty odd players out of contract in the summer. A couple more are needed, but after that we should take stock in July.

So whoever is in charge at Millwall next season, be it Holloway or a new bloke, is going to have a blank sheet of paper to work from as far as the squad is concerned. That can be refreshing after a couple of struggling seasons.

Sako signing a new contract would top off a great transfer window for us Wolves fans, although being greedy It would be nice to get another striker.

We've pretty much done our business.

Darren Bent in to replace the woeful Leon Best
Ryan Shotton in permanently after a successful loan.
Stephen Warnock in as cover at left back.
Raul Albentosa to replace either Keogh or Buxton.

If it wasn't for Ibe being recalled, we'd be done. Nixon reckons we're after a big name. Rumours it's Scott Sinclair, but it'll be in The Sun tomorrow.

Centre half.
Width.
Creative midfielder.
Target man.

Would be nice. Width and a big striker most important imo.

Scott Sinclair would be a good signing if he can rediscover what he had, before he went to rot at City.
Still feel a bit let down that Rogers didn't at least let Ibe stay for the Forest game.

It's probably pointless to say given that we're under an embargo and our owner is banned, however...

Some wingers would be nice, a left-winger especially, because we desperately lack width. We haven't had a good out-and-out winger in ages.
A striker. We're covered in terms of numbers up front, but only Antenucci has contributed with goals and we don't score anywhere near enough.
Centre-half. Our defence is leaky and ideally we'd get a big commanding player to partner Bellusci.

Although to be honest, the only positions I'm comfortable with are centre-midfield and right-back...

Decent backup strikers was the main priority and we seem to have solved that already. Some more depth in defence would be nice too.

Glad to see you made it over Veggie Legs. We were worried you had drowned in the sinking of the good ship TFF.

Thanks, it's good to see you here too, I know you were pretty disillusioned with TFF.

I'd pretty much resolved not to post any more before it was put out of its misery.

I guess I was incompatible with the board software.

We need a big bastard up front to mix it up when things aren't going to plan.
I think we need a pacey winger down the left too as we're a bit light on that front. Would of loved Lloyd Dyer.

Striker, obviously. Alarming lack of goals from the players who are supposed to specialise in that stuff.

Then a central midfielder, which looks like being Beram Kayal from Celtic. With Dale Stephens also to finally return soon after a lengthy lay-off, we should be sorted in that area.

Other than that, maybe a winger who can cross effectively, but I wouldn't have it down as a pressing need.
