Let us all spare a moments thought for poor Jim, currently suffering the indignation of playing for Scunthorpe United, RIP Jim.

Will be a tough game, we're flying though so I am quietly confident we will come away with the win.

What season was that goal from Craig? Been to Barnsley several times but cannot place it.

I'm actually going to this one, first city game in a while.

I hope we win and Murphy scores a hattrick

Our record against Coventry is atrocious, something like four wins since 1997/98 season.

We do seem to save our crappest performances of the season for them.

What a huge game this is. Win and we could potentially go 6th, lose and we'll be at least 5 points off that last play off spot. We weren't good at all yesterday and haven't been for the past few games but we're still in good form, where-as Cov are very much out of form.

So we all know what's going to happen don't we . . .

Oh and Jim :hail:

Barnsley win. We can only beat teams who look like they've never played football before.

Not sure why we're not allowed in on this action.

Truly shocking. DDLDWDWDLLLDWLL is our current form. Embarrassing with the team we have.

Is this team that good? Have we over-achieved?

Season is slipping through our fingers.

Excellent performance from us tonight. Might have been two set pieces that won it but we missed so many good chances from open play as well. Robbo absolutely imperious at the back and a deserved motm award. Can't say anyone had a bad game for us, superb all round.

Cov looked like the champions elect when we played at the Ricoh in November, fast attacking football on the deck and lots of balls out wide and quickly into the box. Tonight they just lumped it up to Tudgay and Armstrong before deciding to play football for the last 5 minutes with the game already over as a contest. No idea why there was so little attempt to play the ball to Armstrong's feet because the one time it happened he took a touch and smashed a shot on target. Stephen Hunt was laughably poor, I'd get Jim back if I were you.

Good following from the Cov fans and I almost felt sorry for them having to witness a performance like that, then I remembered "you're fucking shit, you're fucking shit, you're fucking shiiiiiiit" echoing around the Ricoh in our direction earlier in the season so bollocks to them:ds:

Worth noting that Murphy and Armstrong were the only players who even resembled footballers last night.

BLOODY LOAN PLAYERS PUTTING NO EFFORT IN.

Lol Murphy had his one good game in 7 then?

Armstrong puts 110% in every week.

How is young Brownhill doing? Noticed he's been in and out of the side in the last few games.

He's done very well so far, so well he's keeping Josh Scowen out of the side (Scowen is the first name I'd have had on the teamsheet at the start of the season). Him and Hourihane go very well together in the middle and while Pearson was good I'd be lying if I said we'd missed him.

How's Ben getting along?
