Deserved win vs fleetwood all they did was throw themselves to the ground and screaming and the ref fell for it over and over

No, time wasting is just that. Fair play on the win your lot defended far better than we did. We had plenty of chances but your defensive unit did really well. Playing two full backs as centre halves buggered us up but can’t use that as an excuse
Thanks, strange game. You really put us under the kosh in the 2nd half, playing some decent football but you were so wasteful in front of goal. Which was nice for once as it’s nornally us.

I thought we defended excellently though and looked dangerous on the counter. Also thought you could have had a penalty at one point after one of your players jumped for a cross - it looked like we nudged him in the air a little, id like to see it again.

Great to finally win away again though, we’ve had a great month - unbeaten in 6 and for the first time this season, we aren’t lookin below ourselves in the table

Strange game really. Donny seemed to have a lot of the ball and played some really good stuff but the stats say their only shot on target was the goal.

It was highly entertaining. Donny are a good footballing team but we soaked up the pressure and always looked a threat on the break. Both teams had 10 attempts on goal but we were more clinincal, 6 on target to their 1 and 3 good goals. Deserved win in the end.

I've heard some Donny fans talking about relegation but I don't think they have anything to worry about. Looked a good team to me.

Really should have won that one, but credit to Northampton defended really well. Decent following even if a little quiet.

Quiet? Good sarcasm, we didn't stop the whole game....Couldn't hear your lot above that bloody drum!

Fleetwood were indeed cheating, whiny sods, so beating them was very satisfying. Shame though as they clearly have some decent enough players, just not the bottle or the heart that we do. We're currently proof that effort alone can get you a fair old way at this level, and we go to Wigan next week with zero fear.

Up the Gills.

Another frustrating game for us. How the officials missed the clearest of deliberate handballs I'll never know. Still, these things even up etc etc :hb:

Shrewsbury were very solid, and took their chance. Horrible defending by us for that corner. Our best spell was early second half when Pitman came on but Shrews keeper came up with a couple of great saves.

We're looking very lightweight in midfield now - desperately need to bring someone in before the window closes, if the budget allows. F*ck off January, roll on Feb.

Us and Gillingham have certainly turned ourselves around. Despite an incredible run we are still only 8 points clear of the bottom 4 and only 9 behind 6th place.

Yeah fair play, you were awful at our place (we weren't much better) - nice turn around.

Lets hope we can both stay here for next season, we need more southern teams!

Nuts that our game in early December was a match between two of the bottom four! Credit to both sides for their incredible form over the last two months really.

That was the game I felt Adams needed to go. Apart from a Blissett wonder strike we were shocking. That was also our 6th red in 8 games im fairly sure. You'll be fine, certainly not a bottom four side.

Both Anderson and Boyle start as expected but McCullough and Kiwomya both on the bench at long last so it’s 4 new starters in the squad really

We should be out of site here. Morris could have had 6 today. Feel like this will come back to bite us.

Not bad upto now, winning 2-0. Makes it better with plymouth beating Blackburn 2-0 and Shrews still drawing.

Really poor game of football both look like relegation fodder, difference being a goal of the season contender.

Our defence has actually looked a lot better today but we have offered fuck all going forward. We can’t strike a balance at all.

Could be time for a change, I only hope this gives the board a massive kick up the arse that you need to spend on quality to get out of this league.

God we make hard work of it. Fleetwood had two shots on target and scored them both. We were pretty dominant throughout and should have won by so many more. Finally a win at least.

Oh well, a free hit of a game really so not too dismayed by a loss. 2-0 isn't awful either, and makes our record after 30 games to be 10 wins, 10 draws, 10 defeats and a goal difference of 0! How very average :brill:

Absolutely ridiculous end to our game today.

New keeper Henderson making his debut crocks his knee/hammy from a goal kick, no subs left so our winger goes in goal. Then our centre back gets sent off. Then there’s 7 mins of added time. Cue a backs to the wall end with the loudest atmosphere that Fratton’s had for ages. Mental! We’ve had horrendous luck with injuries this year.
