You're hardly the most impartial

Thompson has a hard on for Oxford because Chris Maguire absolutely ruined him in the last game against Swindon. Sadly we are a shadow of the Appleton side and do silly things like that. All on us, but this is a team built by Clotet and it shows.

He was on the receiving end from Chris Maguire when we played the piss stains.

Footballing karma. Don’t you just love it!

Every time we lose we keep saying that must be it for the playoffs.. and yet, they're still only 2 points off. Is everyone just a bit shit or what?

He came over to goad us after the final whistle, last time we played at the County Ground. He's a very naughty boy. :D

Watched the game out of boredom. Brett Pitman has put on more than a few pounds but he's certainly still got the goal touch.

If that had been an Oxford player I'd have been fuming, so you can't condone it really. I'll take it though, it's about time we had some good fortune this season.

Portsmouth now move above us in the table.

Nice to see Karl Robinson still doing everything he can to make sure we don’t make the play-offs.

He is, obviously, a Swindon fan - I’d expect nothing less! Cracking game, that. Suppose your recent lofty ambitions has consigned these sort of things to ‘All Our Yesterdays’.

I see you’re ‘minding the gap’ quite well!

I guess, but I'm also aware of the natural cycle of BCFC (we are a 2nd/3rd tier yoyo club) so I'm sure we'll meet again for the usual handbags

Unsportsmanlike conduct, should have got a second yellow
It's something that he has got away with all his career and perfected at Swindon. After one Swindon game at VP, our local rag included a wide angle photo of the pitch which showed 4 Swindon players in different areas of the pitch, all laid on the floor, holding their heads. A couple of years back, he went down injured in his penalty area during a play off final and I couldn't believe it when he actually went off injured.

It’s been coming.

He’s completely lost the dressing room and 1 win in 14 simply isn’t good enough. He will always be a club legend but it was just time to part ways

Poor Grezza, love the guy but he's not very good at this management stuff is he?

Can't believe you're still 5th.

A hard fought point at P'boro. Not sure we quite deserved it, but purely for the fight we put up it was deserved. Considering P'boro always seem to score freely against us, they struggled in this game. We even should have made it 2-0 before they scored theirs.

Considering I was fully expecting to go 9/10 points behind the play offs after results on Saturday - somehow we've actually gained a point and are now 6 points behind with 8 games to go.

Personally I think it's a bit too far to make up - especially as we have Blackburn (H), Wigan (H) & Rotheram (A) still to play. In fact I reckon we've probably got the toughest if not one of the toughest last 8 games in the league:

Bury (H)
Fleetwood (A)
Charlton (H)
Rotherham (A)
Wigan (H)
Gillingham (H)
Southend (A)

He’s not the worst but he certainly has some glaring faults he needs to sort out.

I can’t believe we’re 5th either. If we somehow make the play offs we would have to be the worst ever team to make it.

Ours is far tougher, which is why we won’t make the play-offs.

Northampton (A)
Rotherham (H)
Bristol Rovers (A)
AFC Wimbledon (A)
Scunthorpe (H)
Shrewsbury (A)
Portsmouth (A)
Blackburn (H)
Rochdale (A)

Every single team has something to play for and playing against 4 of the top 6.

Not related but do you think Karlan Ahearne-Grant has any hope of making it at Championship level, we were linked over the weekend. Looks a unit which generally helps.
