I think that Donny and Blackpool will be the 'other' two.

If Oldham beat Blackpool I'm very certain they'll stay up.

Blackpool beat Oldham and us this week and I reckon it'll be them.

Donny are down if they don't sack Fergie Jr.

For us, i think it boils down to beating the mid table sides with nothing to play for (i'm looking at you Sheffield United) and avoiding defeat against the bottom teams, of which the Donny and Fleetwood games will be the most important. Do that and we'll be fine.

Scunthorpe v Chesterfield
Fleetwood v barnsley
Crewe v blackpool
Oldham v dale
Doncaster v peterborough
Walsall v colchester

Difficult set of fixtures all round today for the shite teams in the division. I would expect defeats for Chesterfield and colchester while Fleetwood should most likely lose as well.
Ours and blackpool games are too close to call really. Definitely take a crewe win today though. Get your arse into gear railway men.

Finally doncaster. You would think it's a nailed on Doncaster loss with their form but Peterborough ain't great either at the mo and there is always the fergie factor. I'll go with a Peterborough win still tho.

Better Doncaster result today and we escape the relegation spots for the first time in almost 5 months (unless we draw and blackpool hammer crewe 3 or more)

Reckon we'll be able to do you a favour and get a draw, can't make any promises though.

Our away record is very decent (8 wins) so I'm certainly not expecting a defeat at Scunthorpe today.

Well, not a good day for the relegation teams on the whole. Crewe and Colchester showed why they are going down by conceding late goals which led to defeats. Not a lot else to say one that front, at least Col U seem to be giving it a decent fight though. Oldham suffered a damaging home defeat to Rochdale, considering it was 1-1 at HT and Rochdale played the entire 2nd half with 10 men. Tough game against Burton next up, their hame with Chesterfield on Easter Monday looks huge. Donny finally slip into the bottom 4, been coming. They have 2 massive games up next weekend, got to get 4 points from those. Look relegation bound at the moment mind.

Blackpool got a late win against Crewe, but they looked poor and could easily slip back into the bottom 4 if they don't build on this result. Fleetwood suffered back to back home defeats against 2 promotion chasers. Chesterfield managed a decent draw away at Scunthorpe. Both of those 2 clash in another big game next Friday.

Some crunch relegation clashes next weekend, going to make for interesting viewing.

We're gone tbh. Two utter SHITE managers on the trot in Dickov and Fergie has done us in.

I thought we'd be at the other end of the table.

2 very tough games coming up. Especially burton, who we have to face without matty palmer, our best player by a country mile since shez came in. On the other hand facing them without tiele who is also on loan from them is probably a good thing.

A game I'm not expecting anything from but a game the history books say latics are likely to go and win. It's just how we roll.

Chesterfield is also a toughy and tbh can only see 2 points max. I'd take 3 now.

We're likely to be sans left back over Easter with Declan John Wales U21-ing, Donahue suspended and Jones now out for the rest of the season. Buggers our chances in 2 vital games a bit :(

I don't fear anyone this league is shite and we are currently in the top half of the form league. That'll be enough to see us safe

Crewe have a decent last four games if they can keep in touch with the rest up until that point. Two massive games for Chesterfield mind, lose them and they are right back in it.

Agreed. Blackpool, albeit having played a game more, seem to have a reasonable run in also.

I notice Peterborough play four of the teams below them. Manage to lose them all, and they could be dark horses...

I don't think we will.

Oldham fans; will there be a decent gate Monday? Not quite a relegation shoot out but a huge game for you especially.

It's never huge, but may be bigger number than usual as the Burton game has moved to TV so a few will not bother travelling to that away game so extra money in the pockets and all that.

We absolutely have to beat your lot though.

We can't beat 10 men Blackpool at home....

We'll be a good 10 points adrift if not already down by the time we hit the last four games anyway. Team waved the white flag a few weeks ago.

With arguably a tougher run in than any of those below us we're unfortunately still far from out of this.

A win over the fail this week looks very necessary to settle some nerves going into that tough run of games.

Still no chance really, but pretty amazing to think that if the last two games before yesterday had ended in the 89th minute then we'd only be three points away from safety. Despite going over four months without a win and picking up five points from 19 games. Shame on everyone else.

Yeh,it's a poor league alright.Our 02/03 runners-up side,containing Dean Ashton,Rob Hulse,Rodney Jack,Dave Brammer,etc,would've pissed all over this division.

That year was easily the best I have ever seen at this level. We had a shit hot team and still scraped the play offs. Us qpr crewe Cardiff. All those teams would hold there own in today's championship

Crewe are dead and buried. Be surprised if we hit 35 points come the end of the season. Colchester did have a glimmer of hope, but the results today should put survival back out of reach for them. However, beat Coventry tomorrow and they might be back in with a shout. Donny are looking League Two bound, no reaction today despite Fergie ripping them a new one on Friday. Oldham got 4 points over this weekend, keeping 2 clean sheets in the process. They aren't playing next week(I assume because they were due to play Barnsley), so will be hoping that the teams above them slip up.

Fleetwood didn't play today and have slipped to the very edge of the relegation zone after 5 games without a win. Their run in looks tricky. Have they got enough to stay up? Blackpool got a vital win at Donny, couple of huge home games for them now. Chesterfield are another slipping back into trouble, goals have dried up. Not liking their run in either.

So, in all likelyhood, the bottom 3 are going down. So who completes the bottom 4? Oldham, Fleetwood, Blackpool or Chesterfield?

We are not safe yet, next 2 games v Wigan (h) and Millwall (a) will be very tough, and if we lose those with the teams below picking up points and we will be back in the frame with 6 games to go, although I have never thought we are out of it until we get those 2 more wins!

Blackpool, Doncaster, Crewe for me. Probably Colchester as well, although they're the ones I can see going on a winning run - they have form for it! Fleetwood and Oldham have enough about them to grind out the required points for safety, leaving Chesterfield as the dark horses for the last spot.

Thankfully looks like relegation at Vale is just about unlikely. Instead it'll be at home to Scunthorpe or Colchester. Players will still get clapped off like heroes.

Shite weekend for us with no shots on target puts us right back in it. One from us, Oldham, Blackpool & Fleetwood it seems. It's a bad time to look clueless unfortunately so it's a little worrying and the three wins we may need look a long way off.

I still think we'll have just enough to edge out Blackpool if not the other two.
