I've read some of your match reports, especially the Hendon ones. Very well written. Clarence Park always struck me as somewhere to get a gin and tonic and some cucumber sandwiches in a fine summer evening.

Cheers, rudebwoyben. You have just described my perfect non-league ground - Clarence Park is not far off. DarkSithLord, happy to do so. I can only post the last thing I've written for the moment, obviously, but will think about something for the future.

I was considering trying to get to the game Hendon played at Silver Jubilee Park I see you went to. We played them in the FA Cup this year and visited Earlsmead, heard about their difficulties in the past and the prospect of a bright future with the new ground. Hope we get to visit them there at some point

It's a good ground and a real home - definitely worth a visit. The most obvious bonus for the team is the 3G pitch. As I'm sure you noticed, the surface at the Earlsmead is far from state-of-the-art.

To be fair, you should see some of the cabbage patches we've had to play on! Our own surface isn't great, though our groundsman has done a fantastic job turning it around from where it used to be. I'd love to play them in a pre-season whichever division they are in, very nice club. Any word on when it will be available for competative games? (i.e. league, FA Trophy and FA Cup).

'Cabbage patches' is an excellent description! Good to hear yours has improved. I think the club are hoping it will be available from next season onward - still, lots to finalise.
