Just the two games ater Eastleigh`s pitch failed an inspection.

Barrow v Gateshead.

Both Braintree and Gateshead need wins to keep themselves in the play-off picture and if both achieve it they might become serious contenders allthough Gateshead poor Goal Difference wont help them.

Braintree have a favourable next 6 games looking at it.

Not sure they'll hold out, though. By the time they get to the Eastleigh. Grimsby, Cheltenham games they'll have been Sat/Tues for a month.

If Braintree did end up squeaking unto the play offs i would genuinely rather play a more fancied team like a Cheltenham or a Forest Green than face Braintree.
At least against the fancied teams we can usually play our own game and both teams go for it, rather than 180 mins of a nailbiting bore-fest decided by the odd goal.
And apologies if that sounds insulting to the Braintree fans on here it is not meant to be, but games against them are always awful spectacles, wondering where a goal is gonna come from.

Their home semi final would get postponed a few times first. Play off final would end up happening in June.

You might be right about that, but they played some of the better football seen at Prenton Park this season and their PE teacher management seemed far more clued up than Brabin. Though suppose that's not saying much.

We either need Grimsby to go on a run and challenge for the title - so when the FA Trophy game comes around they can't be bothered OR for them to totally implode leaving another play-off spot up for the grabs - this might result in them trying in the Trophy but if they are rubbish then we might win.

Also, come on Kidderminster. We gave you one of your three wins this season so take something off Eastleigh for us.

We're at home and losing to Arlsey, who are 18th in our league. Currently 1-0 to the visitors, it will be big points dropped in terms of the title race if we don't manage to turn this around.
