So what’s to stop all those with no chance of the play-offs furloughing their players and ending the season playing kids, this season will descend into farce.
The team in 20th is only 16 points off the play offs with half a season still to play. The length of time left in the season gives everyone hope and will hopefully prevent that

What makes me nervous now is we never declared which way we voted and as such I'm not sure what our stance now is given we are carrying on. A statement would be nice from the club but I doubt its forthcoming.

At the moment they are... will look entirely different in 10/15 games time and that’s where the problems will arise

1 short of 50% majority?

Or was it pooled with NLN
Think they were 12 in favour of continuing 9 for N&V.
It’s the bigger N&V vote in NLN that’s sealed their fate.

It’s technically against league rules to deliberately play a weak team. I think they’d rightly have some sympathy for any teams saying they need to do that now for financial reasons, anyone doing so after they’ve lost any chance of making the play-offs would need to be charged.

So what do we think the 7 teams will do?

Dover roll over and call it quits?
Rest play on but some potential field weakened / youth / non contract teams? Assume this will be Wealdstone, Kings Lynn, Woking, Weymouth maybe? Not sure who else

Now there is no relegation I imagine they will find some way - any way - to continue rather than face whatever sanctions would come from not fulfilling their fixtures. Dover to start on -15 in the NL next season?

Don't think for 1 minute we will re-start now.
The South is a team short so I expect we get put there

I wouldn’t be that surprised to see Dover back in with a team of freebies and rag tags now that the vote is official.

It all depends on what the sanction for going against the vote would be, I guess. Presumably it’s got to be something?

Really feel for supporters at that level. Next few months is not going to be easy for fans of clubs at that level.

The potential outcomes of either watching my club financially go to shit, or not watching at all whilst the world gets sorted out were never going to be easy.

It's amazing how many fans of bigger clubs than my own who have faced their own financial issues in the past seemed to want all clubs to carry on regardless of the consequences. For NLN it is obviously the right decision as decided by a democratic vote, the same for the NL. It's the NLS with their wide-boy chairmen and hobby clubs I feel slightly sorry for, as this isn't what they wanted.

pretty sure manager or chairman has said that won't happen due to travel costs etc
