Stockport County.
Good for the National League if that goes ahead on the step below.

Need to get the jeopardy of relegation being a possibility as long as we can. If I was a Barnet fan, I'd be shitting it.

You look at Wealdstone's result last night, I think King's Lynn got a win somehwhere off the top of my head. These teams are still fighting.

I'm not concerned, this team isn't at all likeable and we haven't seen most of them play live anyway. If we stayed up I'd just feel like we were cheating a step 2 team out of a promotion spot who actually give a shit.

Not shitting it. Deserve to go down with no complaints if it happens.

We 'only' got a point, albeit a very good one away at Notts County.

In the local press today that we have furloughed six (including three injured defenders) with a further six to go on after this weekends game at Woking, although it doesn't say if any of the defenders will be brought off furlough once they regain fitness. Not sure if this classes as 'fighting' but certainly Culverhouse and the lads did all they could last night and personally I would still support any side in 20th or below going down to keep everyone playing as long as possible to avoid that final (if you assume Dover and Barnet are gone) spot.

I hope the teams in the NLN & NLS who push for the season to continue do not end up crying bankruptcy if they continue the season and fail to achieve promotion. Seems as a lot of clubs are pinning their hopes and bank balances on promotion. Can see a lot of teams going out of business.
Our chairmen is on record saying the playing budget this season is considerably lower than last season,to enable to see season out without fans,so we did a budget for it.
Do I think we are waisting money ‘yes’ not good enough but100% believe league should continue.without promotion/relegation no point even starting the season.

Couldn’t agree more. If this league goes ahead and we don’t get promoted I will be pissed off but at least they’ve given us a chance. You can’t start the season and then just discard it after 16 or so games. It makes a complete mockery of football

Mate with all due respect we’re shitting it out of fear for the future of our club and community, rather than the fear of relegation. We deserve to go down and the chairman deserves far more on top of that. Bit shortsighted to suggest that.

If this farce goes ahead then relegation should be on the table as well.

See how many teams want to take part then

We are taking out a loan of around £400,000. Is it just me or does that seem a lot of money?

The Hungerford chairman has confirmed the same.

I'd imagine it looks a bit like this atm:

North:
Fylde
York
Boston
Kidderminster
Gloucester
Chorley

South:
Dorking
Dartford
Eastbourne
Oxford City
St Albans
Hampton & Richmond
Ebbsfleet
Havany & Waterlooville
Hemel Hempstead
Chelmsford
Welling

Unsures:
Brackley
Tonbridge
Billericay

Some hefty travelling in there 300 miles between Eastbourne and Fylde

H&W have released a statement saying they won't be involved in any alternative competition for this season.

As a Barnet fan based on this pathetic season we would be relegated. However a vote was made to null and void and yes we have massively lucked out.

To conjur up a mixture of teams who want to play on is wrong.

Just seems a lot, especially considering how we always say we have one of the lowest budgets in the league
He seems to be hinting the average budget in this league is £1 million.

Don't like the way the chairmans coming across in that interview though. We may well end up as the leagues whipping boys next season if he takes the money needed for the loan out of the playing budget.

Based on Wild's interview earlier, it sounds like no more signings this season which is probably a wise decision given the circumstances. This loan seems to be purely to get us through this season.

The vibe I'm getting from Wild and McClelland is we are really going to go for it this summer recruitment wise. Not throwing silly money about of course but they both seem to be talking about the summer signings as opposed to now.

I thought Ivers in his many interviews has said relegation will not happen from step 1. What is likely is that Dover’s and the spare spot are up for grabs. That said, as the 18 keep diminishing, how many are actually going to be involved and depending on numbers, surely any competition, let’s call it the Marc White toys out of a pram cup, will have no credibility?

even if it was to be agreed the speed the National league move it won’t be ready until it’s time to start the new season.
So in theory, Blythe & Welling can re-join this mini league on level status and win promotion. I am sure this will go down well.

Looks like a right mess to me does that proposal. Also voting to cut revenue even further next season by us all having one less home gate....

How would this work? A mini-league playing each other once, or more of a cup format?

Big question is whether all results to date, subject say to ppg since teams have played different numbers of games, will count 100% notwithstanding that some teams will have had "easier" matches so far. And if not what??

What’s the deal with Suttons 3G pitch? Can they afford to rip it up, relay some grass and the loss of income from the 3G facility that entails?
Just heard a little something that Sutton going up might not be as straight forward as them winning the league. Surely not?!

Could they potentially do a ground share type thing in the short term similar to what Harrogate have been doing at Doncaster should it not be possible??
