We'll probably be playing the youth team. Lump on Mansfield.

Also I have never seen such apathy at my football club.

Haha. Do orient still think Palmer is good? Or did they work out he's a nice lad but about as good at football as Donald trump is at politics?

Donald Trump is very good at politics, which is why he's going to be the Republican nomination...

We've never thought Palmer is good. He is quite clearly crap. Can't fault his endeavour though.

He has featured in all but one of our games this season, scoring 7 goals (2 vs Ryman League Staines Town). Made a difference in a few games when he's come on as a sub and made a few goals.

However, he is as I expected, technically crap. Becchetti wants to offload him in the summer, he is the weakest of our 4 strikers.

Did well for us, helped take us up ten years ago and scored some crucial goals to keep us in League One, a few being belters.

His legs went by the time we got rid of him and he wasn't as mobile as he was but he was 33 at the time, a shame as he did well for us and was well liked at the club.

And on Palmer he isn't even a nice lad. He's an arrogant posh c*** thanks to his Dad being Prince Charle's bodyguard, if he's not mentioned it yet who thinks he's much better than what he is on the back of some rumour Chelsea once sent a scout (I've got scouting badges) to watch him run around like a headless chickenand he's got a fuck ugly bitter missus aswell.

So you're on the fence? Chelsea send scouts to everyone if they show something special in a game. Sam Corne at Welling was scouted by Chelsea this season because he scored a worldie v Tranmere.

This is true, I've seen a few of their scouts looking over my garden fence following what I can only describe as a Gazza esque v Scotland finish last week...

I would expect Aaron Pollock a young centre half and Josh Koroma, a young right winger to probably both start the game. Little quality but alot more effort at least.

If Simpson and Atangana are both fit we might draw the game.

Huge apathy at the football club right now, what with the owner picking the team and organising the tactics as well.

Expecting around 300 Stags, their first visit here in ten and a half years, from 1996-2006, this was a regular fixture. Stags last win here was a 3-1 back in March 2000 when a young Chris Greenacre was on target.

Lump on Mansfield.

Leyton Orient was my first game at home, we lost 2-0/1 if I remember. Somehow after that I became hooked on making myself depressed every Saturday.

Hope Tafazolli and Benning have stormers so FB thinks "I'll have a bit of that".
I would be extremely surprised if Taf went to Leyton. There will probably be much bigger clubs showing interest. Having said that, isn't he best mates with goal machine Palmer?

I'd be surprised if he came to Orient also. Doubt Palmer will be here next season! Only plus point for us is that we can literally chuck a fuckton of money at any player we want.... *cries*

Maybe we let him score out of sympathy?

He was/is that totally bad we thought "go on lad" you know what you do for those a little less fortunate.

Come on end of season

Game was a typical end of season affair, although both sides had a few chances - I thought we edged the game overall, although at 1-0 we did sit back. Mansfield rarely looked like scoring apart from hitting the bar.

Losing Atangana IMO was a blow, he has a strong presence in our midfield and Sammy Moore doesn't quite have that same effect.

Our two youngsters did well, Aaron Pollock after a nervy start grew into the game and got MOTM and Sandro Semedo did well as well and showed some nice touches and brought more pace to the team, the two of them seemed to give everyone a small lift after all the shit stirring recently.

Mansfield looked on their holidays, although they kept the ball well they needed to take more chances I felt -Similar to the 1-1 draw we had in December.

For Palmer to score was amusing, that will probably be the last time he plays for us at home. The owner wants to ship him out.

Better news on the day was that our under 18s won their league winning away at Grimsby - the club is moving in the right direction both on and off the pitch.

As a club were moving in the right direction

Quite interesting to see how people are reacting to Pollock. Watched the game back and I thought he was nowhere near as good as made out, left a lot of defensive work to Brisley plus his distribution was shocking. Expected some sort of epic stand out debut.

Good debut for a youth teamer, he was up against a team halfway to the beach though. His distribution wasn't great but its to be expected.

Agree that people go OTT with this sort of thing, there will be bigger harder tests to come and judge on.

Maybe Ollie Palmer's natural level is Conference then as he was brilliant for us last season, very surprised you all think he is shit.
