Yeah poor game so far. Could be nerves but neither at their best.

Our wing backs are a bit deep but I suppose understandable. I think we need to get at least one of them higher up to create more chances. Both sides could up the tempo although I get the impression Challinor is just happy to stay in the game for now.

I think the ref got the penalty wrong, but he handled that well. Did not make an instant decision, was clearly talking to his team and took the view that there was enough doubt that the pool player could not see the Stockport player until far too late.

Doesn’t really matter when he saw him, he’s booted him in the face. We had a player sent off for the exact same thing against Pools earlier in the season as it happens. It’s a red every time.

This game proves that we'd have had no chance in the play-offs if we reached them. Both teams are streets ahead of us.

Only seen the second half but Hartlepool have edged it for me.

Questionable goalkeeping perhaps but in his defence it did skid off the surface.

Congratulations on your promotion Hartlepool. Can’t help but feel pleased after we relegated you by bottling it against Newport.

Yeah tricky to get down, but as he got a hand on it he'll no doubt be disappointed. That shot beats most keepers in this league.

Missed about 10 of them this season for us - went on loan to Hartlepool and was prolific.

We’ve not played well but we’ve had the two big chances in the game and missed them both.

He’s a really good keeper at this level but low shots like that are his Kryptonite.

Well done Hartlepool.

Commiserations to Stockport. Next season is going to be the most competitive I can remember.

He’s a very average goalkeeper. Was with us for years for some reason though Stockport fans think he’s brilliant. With all the coin they’ve thrown about I’m surprised he’s still there

Good solid job by Hartlepool. Not overly pretty but solid, hard to beat with a clinical striker up top.
Challinor is the best manager in the division for my money and I really fancy Pools to beat Torquay.
