Still think it'll be a Derby/ Norwich top 2, but Boro looking very impressive, albeit their run-in looks horrendous.

I don't think I've ever seen the top of any league this close before. We've got through the worst of our fixtures, Boro & Ipswich the only top 8 sides left to play I think, and not many fighting for their lives either

There will be ONE point separating the top four tomorrow with 11 games to go. It's ridiculous.

Ok we are done for. From now on I support whoever is playing Derby.

Will also be conflicted when Boro come to the CG on Saturday. Not quite wishing we lose just yet, but I won't lose too much sleep if a Bamford sticks in a late winner.

I actually want Norwich and Boro up, Wolves in playoffs if possible.

Gibson is a proper chairman and has done some great stuff at Boro.

Norwich are just so nice. Never hurt anybody. Plus they're a big club and wouldn't mind them in the
Prem.

Then I just like Wolves. Failing that, Brentford would be a nice story.

Obviously don't want Derby up. Ipswich have always annoyed me and I really dislike their football. I was rooting for Bournemouth until Eddie Howe turned into a little bitch and I saw how cynical and uppity his team were last week at Forest.

Watford... Meh.

A hard fought win without being at our best.

We won and march on to Wolves.

Opportunity for us to climb into the top two tomorrow night with a win at home to Wigan (albeit on goal difference only), so hopefully a big incentive for the players to get the job done again and secure a seventh win on the bounce.

It would be 'typical Norwich' to slip up at home to a team 34 points worse off after a run like this, but I'm hoping and trusting Alex Neil has this group of players drilled to finish the job now and push on into the top two and stay there.

Incredible promotion race though. 72 points was enough to take 6th place last year, 68 the year before that. Those figures will be blitzed this season.

Forest can surely have nothing to complain about from that game given your absolutely extreme time wasting throughout the entire second half? It was mental!

If we can pick up results against Norwich and Boro we will have a much better chance, but with current defence I don't see it. Need Albentosa to play and Martin/Thorne back from injury to give us a good chance.

It's only a week ago (possibly even less), that I declared that we were going to win the league and that I'd believed it to be the case all season.

I'm doubting it a tad, don't know if you can tell?

I did read that at the time and had a chuckle, because of how pessimistic you normally are!

Derby ARE the best side in the division, as long as you can get people fit, you will go up.

The fact anybody can beat anybody is what makes it great. Look how tight both leagues are, you wouldn't see that anywhere else.

We've lost it completely. Still hopeful of getting in the playoffs but automatic is light years away.

Absolutely amazed with the score at Carrow Road. Delighted though, of course.

Should have started but Mick drops him :dk: along with the leagues top goal scorer and our most creative midfielder. Mick to blame tonight. Been blaming him for two months now because he hasn't been playing 4-3-3 (what we used in our good run) and kept a CB at RB!

Massive game on Saturday in front of no more than 17000 as our fickle fans move on for another season.

Great night for us. Such a crazy league.

If we get a result away at Ipswich this weekend, would give us a huge lift!

We're in great form currently but it can't go on for another 12 games.
I still don't think we'll finish top two.
No such thing as an easy game. It would be so typically Championship for us to have beaten Wolves/Watford/Blackburn/Ipswich consecutively and then go on to drop points against Wigan/Millwall. You lot lost to Wigan at home, didn't you?

Don't know why people act surprised. You can win four in a row against good sides and lose to the first shit side you come across. It's always been like that.

We wont go up. If by some miracle we get into the playoffs we wont get anywhere, we can't beat any team that is half decent in this league. Looks like Brentford will be in there over Ipswich on current form though.

What an utterly dreadful game tonight at Carrow Road. I'm usually full of optimism before most games, but I had a bad feeling about this one. It just felt like too much of a comedown after the Ipswich game at the weekend.

The worst thing that could've happened was Wigan getting the early lead, which of course they did. After that, they adopted a 'try and break us down if you can' mentality, and we basically couldn't. We couldn't even get anywhere near their goal. Carson didn't have a notable save to make. I don't even remember us carving out a half-decent chance. A few speculative shots from distance. A couple of free kicks which came to nothing. A really flat, uninspiring performance with nobody in a yellow shirt playing anywhere near to their best.

The Grabban injury is a huge blow for our promotion hopes. His movement up front was really missed last night.

We have missed Martin similarly, his hold up play is essential to how we play to bring wingers/midfielders further forwards. So frustrating but you have to deal with it sometimes.

I can understand resting Murphy, we've been relying on him so much recently and he looks like he needs a break. Dropping Sears as well to play two players who aren't match fit is crazy though, Wood and Sears would have been fine.

I'm in the pro 4-3-3 camp too, but really I think the most important thing is to play people in their natural position. I like Smith, but he looks so uncomfortable on his right foot and Parr is a much better full back than Chambers is. It seems so obvious to everyone except Mick unfortunately. The same applies in midfield, if we're playing 4-4-2 then put natural wide players in the wide positions. Anderson isn't great, but at least he knows how to play in that position. And why haven't we seen Stewart or Connolly, at least from the bench when we need to change something?
