Yeah, that was the point you fool.

I knew what 'pesting' or 'pestering' meant in the first place if used in a sentence, but didn't know a definition to make it sound like I was some posh bastard with a degree in English Language.

And consider The Alex used it, it's clearly not just 'southern slang.'

Anything south of Derbyshire is southern.

Alex, thanks for making me smile. You genuinely have so little understanding of the law that you feel that someone needs permission to 'publicise' [sic] their Twitter usernames. @David_Cameron. Oh no! I didn't get his permission! Oh no! I'm going to go to jail!

SERNWA, you put your Tweets and the tweets of your :2thumb: friends :2thumb: into the public domain. Once they are in the public domain, then that's it...they are out there for all to see. Do remember this when future employers, girlfriends, relatives come across your musings. What seems laddish and well 'ard now might seem somewhat childish and awkward in 5, 10, 15 years time. If you don't want your tweets or the Twitter usernames in the public domain, then change the security settings.

Again...isn't it time to calm down and take a deep breath?

I haven't put anything in the public domain, I was communicating with my friends by tagging them in a tweet, I'm not posting those usernames on football forums.

Heh, I was going to post this myself but I couldn't be arsed with him quoting me again with some idiotic reply.

All of your friends twitter profiles are public, that means there is nothing stopping people from copying whatever (frankly disgusting) content they produce to another area of the internet. For a man who goes around here claiming that he is training to become a teacher, I would really advise doing your research on such basic laws (try the data protection act for starters), either that or just read the 'terms and conditions' when you sign up to such a social media site.

Another solution would be to privatise their twitter profiles.

Training to be a teacher?! That is deeply worrying, he is obviously an aggressive, rude, short tempered and quite frankly idiotic person. Thankfully those shortcomings will likely prevent him from ever teaching children.

It's probably bullshit to try and impress other people over the internet. Actually I remember someone here saying he works in a call centre which sounds more logical.

Glossop is in Derbyshire.
Rotherham is, albeit slightly, south of Glossop.
By your own admission, you’re a southerner.

You’ve managed to push the “How stupid can I make myself look” boundaries even further.

Fucking impressive.

At least one of them is private, check if you don't believe me.

Slightly awkward :/

Let's go one step at a time SERNWA, alphabet first... Then maybe you could work on your geography and literacy.

I hope this apparent 'teacher to be' realizes the governmental push for literacy promotion within curriculum. A PGCE doesn't do that for you, numpty - you require at least half a brain too :ffs:

Southerner.

:fish:

You, wanna check where Wath is then.

Right, thicko...

Some areas of Rotherham are north of Derbyshire.
Some areas of Derbyshire are north of Rotherham.

Your own fucking super duper stadium is south of Glossop, Derbyshire.

*Awaits predictable response of "I'm a northerner, but lots of Rotherham are southerners".

So the whole of Rotherham isn't south of Derbyshire, pretty pointless point to try and make then wasn't it?

Much as it pains me to back up SERNWA (second time this week!), that's some terrible logic. 'South of Derbyshire' clearly means 'south of all parts of Derbyshire' rather than 'south of any part of Derbyshire'.

I know I shouldn't and I feel a little bit dirty for admitting it, but I am secretly quite enjoying this thread.
It's a bit like rubber necking at a road crash, you know you shouldn't do it but you just can't help it.
