Where did Stockport get their extra bonus from? I demand a recount!

Pretty poor of Stockport to win one. I hope we draw all our Brotherly fixtures.

To be fair, it's Southend that are spoiling the party at the moment.... surely they must realise that actually trying to score the same amount of goals as your REAL brotherhood opponent is the only way to go. I'm pretty sure Stockport would have given them many chances during the match at Roots Hall to level things up after they went in front, only to be frustrated with a disappointing away win.

There's always one that spots the mistake.... it won't make any difference to the table, but I'll rectify that pronto....

Southend realise that when you're in this league for the first time, it is only right to stand aside and let brothers who have been down here longer take all 3 points in their brotherhood fixtures. Hopefully they keep that up on Saturday.

Yes Southend really need to lie down and let us put 3 or 4 past them on Saturday.

They need to pay their dues to the more senior non-league brothers.

Sorry pal but unless the Brotherhood table is written on a toilet roll or a female sanitary product then it doesn’t count.
Doesn't count anyway since it doesn't include all of the eligible clubs.

I am the founder and SOLE administrator of The Brotherhood. I made the rules on Day 1, nobody else has the authority to change them, not even those who hold the mistaken belief that they have.

There is NO hierarchy in the Brotherhood, all clubs have equal status. No club may leave or join the Brotherhood. It is comprised of the clubs, in whatever guise they are now, who were in the Football League in 1986, i.e. before the smaller members were betrayed with the introduction of automatic relegation.

These are the founding principles and rules of the Brotherhood and remain unchanged to this day. That is all, get back to your work. :bdick:

This is the REAL Brotherhood table though? The one that doesn't include teams formed in 2008. By all means, feel free to start a little thread for your own league.

Southend are not properly inducted yet - they need to get a 3 or 4 goal pasting by a non-brotherhood team first...ours was 4-1 at Rushden, and then we had refresher the following season with a 5-1 at Braintree

Exactly that, his Tinpot version was thrown out many years ago. Time he faces up to it. Proper teams play in Proper games against each other, Tinpot teams play Tinpot games. Not hard is it?

Ours was Rushden as well, a 3-0 whooping on our home turf.

We had a completely false start to non-league football, smashing the league favourites (Stevenage) 5-0 on the opening day. I think that's why we're still down here.

That kind of thing is why none of the brothers really begrudge Wrexham’s new big spending status.

We lost 1-0 at Eastleigh in our first game and had two men sent off.

I haven't looked at the figures, but it's written on bog roll so it must be right.

I thought I'd bring back a bit of nostalgia as I know that them Pools lot who think they're much better than all of us now because they play the football league (over-rated place if you ask me) still lurk in the shadows yearning for the days when they actually enjoyed coming on a football forum (have you read the L2 one lately!.... f-me!)

Ah yes, I remember winning our first three games, thinking this league was a piece of piss and wtf was everyone worried about, then getting bummed 3-0 by Gateshead at home and nearly getting relegated.

Going up at the first time of asking just isn't brotherly.

Bristol Rovers, Shrewsbury and Carlisle are shameful traitors.

We have a fantastic record against the old Halifax, maybe it can continue?!?

I genuinely thought it would be Wealdstone as the true welcome but the next three chances all look good:
Halifax away - 11th Sept
Solihull away - 2nd Oct
Eastleigh home - 5th Oct

If we escape those unscathed Dover and Boreham Wood await, but as they are the last two teams to dump us out of the FA Cup I wouldn't actually count them as a 'welcome' if they beat us again. Woking on 13th November would be the next game, surely no one has made it to November without a proper welcome.

If Southend are Claudio Caniggia, which of those teams are Benjamin Massing? Place your bets now, please...

It does brighten up the 4am starts I'm on these days at work to be fair. And yes we are clearly superior. We've gone all big time now.

Well done Southend and Wrexham - how very polite to each other and the rest of the Brothers

At one point I thought we were going through a re-induction fixture today...

Southend are now getting the hang of this brotherly thing enabling REAL brothers Wrexham to move into 2nd spot whilst also elevating themselves off the foot of the table courtesy of Chesterfield having not played a RB fixture to date.

Next update will be after all September fixtures have been completed (or until Chief points out that I've fucked up the table again).

How many points for a Sisterhood victory?

Seeing as it's you Son of Cod.... fuck all.

Only kidding... I'd love to give you points for your ladies (are there any ladies in Grimsby?) easing passed Notts Co ladies (same question applies) but as none of the other members of the RB have a women's side it wouldn't be fair. And as we all know, the RB is about 'brotherly' respect.

Our women play in the Welsh system.

Seems a little unfair that game as it looks like Notts only had 10 players?

We are better than yous ovs, We proved that at Ashton Gate.
Even the ref thought we are superior, He loved us, Really loved us.
Joking apart i think the EFL2 would be a better place if you could have joined us.
Instead of Sutton (sorry sutton fans ) but you know its true.
Would your team have stuck togeather, ours didn't.
Good luck for the season anyway, I think the fancied runners may fall long before the last hurdle.

Are there any ladies in Grimsby? How very dare you sir.

Emily Howard and Florence both live in Grimsby and I can confirm that they are very much ladies.
