Yeah we're not out of danger yet, although last night's results helped.
My gut feeling is it will be one of Weymouth, Maidenhead or Wealdstone to go down with Dover and Kings Lynn
Agree with all you say.
As soon as you start relaxing and thinking you are out of a relegation battle, you are straight back in it. so keeping focused is important.
I too feel there is one place to fill with Dover and Kings Lynn. Weymouth, after we played them on Saturday and their performance, or lack of it makes them my favourite, and Maidenhead and Wealdstone should have enough to avoid that third place. I base that on having to suffer Brandon Goodship up front for a season and he did nothing on Saturday from all reports from those who went, to change any minds. There didn't seem to be much threat from elsewhere their attack. Although it has to be said, of the current bottom 6 they are the top scorers. defensively, apart from the bottom two, of the rest of the bottom 6, Wealdstone have the best defensive figures, so that's a positive.
Signings could play a part and we have gone early for a change.
So all to play for and our next three league games are Kings Lynn (H), Aldershot (A), Dover (A). win those and we could increase the gap, lose them and we are back in the mire.
Aldershot and Altrincham are on the fringes above the bottom six and if they maintain their gap should stay clear, but they have played the most games out of the bottom 8, so are the target teams to get above for ourselves, Wealdstone and Maidenhead, with their games in hand.
Should be an interesting month, but may be a bit clearer by the end of it.
