Would you like some of ours, we've got loads? We've got one beautiful fucking point which I am cherishing.
It doesn't seem fair that the team with the joint highest defeats in the top half of the table lead the way. As the only unbeaten brotherhood member, I rightly claim top position as our own.

But seriously, we've started way better than I imagined. May actually revise my prediction from 10th to 8th.
I totally get that but it'll seem fairer when we've taken your trousers down and rogered your brains out at The Shay next week.
(Best tweet of last season- "a 5ft midget and a 6ft 7ins Sunday league donkey are absolutely destroying us".)

It belongs in non league tbf.
Sorry but considering we have the most points against other Brotherhood clubs (the only games that matter), WE are top dogs at the minute
Oh ye of little faithI used to think that I might not be around when Chester FC get back into the League, but I've revised that to the National League Premier.

The league gets worse and more tinpot each year. Currently we have a 10 year old club top of it who usually yo-yo between this league and the Conference North.
The Shaymen have been around since 1911. In fact a recently discovered 1922 handbook suggests a forgotten history all the way back to 1892. At that time it was impossible to procure a leather football in Halifax, Leeds, Bradford or Manchester and one had to be acquired further afield. So there. The league gets worse and more tinpot each year. Currently we have a 10 year old club top of it who usually yo-yo between this league and the Conference North.
It was supposed to piss people off, I wasn't expecting any replies to it. OMG I'm losing my touch...……Worst thread in the history of ever.

After nearly 60 years of following the Blues faith is a commodity in short supply.Oh ye of little faith![]()
Think many teams will struggle against Solihull away this season, especially if they’ve closed the pitch in a lot and left the grass long. Luckily, there’s more teams looking to play football this season than usual, so that should help us. Pleasantly surprised with how we’ve started, as I was expecting a slow start with us starting to get it together and look like more of a team around September time, so ahead of schedule as it stands.A good start for us although still some questions about how we will deal against the sides who sit back and look and play a more robust game, perhaps.
Couldnt ask for much more really. Better than expected.
After over sixty years supporting them I've learnt to accept the down periods and enjoy the up ones. I'll leave the 'end of the world is nigh' naysayers to their doom and gloom. Que sera sera, as they say. After nearly 60 years of following the Blues faith is a commodity in short supply.
Halifax are top?
Either the league has been turned upside down, or this is league is totally rubbish or it's just a good start, fair play though
Whatever happened to Dagenham though!?
Maybe you should start a thread on the League 2 forum introducing yourself and saying you will be joining next season, like you did last time after winning the first leg of your play off, before then getting bum raped by Cambridge in the second leg.
I remember that, that's why I'm not doing it again.Maybe you should start a thread on the League 2 forum introducing yourself and saying you will be joining next season, like you did last time after winning the first leg of your play off, before then getting bum raped by Cambridge in the second leg.![]()
