In fairness to Neil Young, he did well at Chester and has just got 8th tier Marine into Round 2 of the FA Cup. He was crap for us and gets a mention from Alty there but just adding balance.

Most managers have shit spells to be at this level, unless it's their first job. Gannon is a legend here but ask Port Vale fans what they think of him.

Third Round now! wonder if Merseyrail will give him a pay rise now (cant remember if it was trains or buses that he was involved in)

Actually the managers deserves some accolades, I font know how some player manage to be a professional football player seeing them playing off coach decision

As much as Saunders seems to be a complete tool as well as a disgustingly bad manager, I would nominate Gary Caldwell. Despite being, by all accounts, a nice bloke, the way he confused fourth tier footballers with his other-level 'tactics' was something else.
