Anybody know when the draw for first round takes place? Bought a ticket for a session not knowing who's gonna be playing hoping it's Ronnie or Judd.

Qualifers from the afternoon session -

Mark King 4-10 Xiao Guodong
Akani Songsermsawad 3-10 David Grace
Luca Brecel
10-5 Dominic Dale
Gary Wilson 10-3 Michael White
Michael Holt 9-10 Peter (zzz) Ebdon
Rod Lawler 6-10 Jimmy Robertson
Yan Bingtao
10-4 Alexander Ursenbacher
Yu De Lu 7-10 Martin Gould

Gary Wilson has been impressive hitting 8 centuries including a 147.

While I am absolutely gutted for Holty. Should have won the 18th frame and had chances in the decider. He will be gutted.

Grimsby lad Stuart Carrington has just beaten ex world champ Mark Williams 10-7 to qualify for the Crucible, fantastic result for him.

Mark Williams out which is probably the biggest surprise.

Another former champion in Graeme Dott is through.

Some very tight games tonight.

Most going to at least 10-7/8 which just shows how close qualifying is.

Draw is tomorrow I think - anyone stand out as one to avoid for the seeded players?

So the draw has been made -

Selby v O'Brien
Day v Guodong
N.Robertson v Saengkham
Fu v Brecel
Murphy v Bingtao
O'Sullivan v G.Wilson
Wenbo v Carrington
Ding v Yuelong
Bingham v Ebdon
K.Wilson v Grace
Allen v J.Robertson
Higgins v Gould
Hawkins v Ford
Carter v Dott
McGill v Maguire
Trump v McLeod

Fascinating games wherever you look this year!

Ronnie has his work cut out against Gary Wilson who hit 8 centuries including a 147 in qualifying.

Intriguing all chinese clash of Ding v Zhou - the master v the apprentice.
Can see Bingtao causes a huge shock against Murphy who has been out of sorts.
Judd will have to be patient against Rory McBoring.

And there is a couple of juicy classics there too in Bingham/Ebdon and Carter/Dott and Higgins/Gould.

Ended up with Bingham v Ebdon (both boring) while Ronnie is on the other table to rub it in just typical ffs.

Shame for Gary as I think he would've had a good chance against quite a few of the seeds, but think Ronnie will be too good. He will no doubt give him a good game, though.

Looking forward to seeing some of the Asian players. Think there is potential for a couple of upsets in the first round. Particularly Guodong and Carrington

Hopefully you are sat at the end of the table, you will be able to see both games then.

Yeah Bingham is decent player tbf, the type of player who will just play the percentage shots and not play anything out of the ordinary which is why he won the worlds a couple of years ago.

Would have preferred Ronnie or Judd (especially Judd) as he's got every shot in the locker like his incredible cue power, being able to deep screw 2 lengths of the table and the way he just slams the balls in pocket up the cushion is what i love to see.

Nah i can only see the 1 table from im sitting would have been nice to see them both. I know they take the barrier wall down when 1 session is over but i can't see Bingham v Ebdon finishing before Ronnie with how fast he mops em up.

Anyone see the O'Brien / Gilbert final frame last night? I gave up at around 96 minutes, I thought Youtube was lagging, so slow was it.

Anyone watching the McGill Maguire game know what the "colourful language in commentary" was? I'm intrigued. Willie or Ebdon letting rip?

Maybe the first real surprise with Marco Fu 5-0 down against Brecel.
