StevieEvansRedNWhiteArmy, a fucking idiot that can be as racist, sexist and offensive as he see's fit, yet a minority still find him entertaining and mods seem to let him get away with it.

He's not alone in the "offensive but nothings done about it" camp. Though this member in particular sounds like a complete willy end.

Well it's not my decision, but as far as I'm concerned, there is absolutely no place for racism of any kind on here or anywhere. If you've not read what he said, I suggest you do.

OK, just read it.

Still stand by my earlier post though.

Clearly he is an attention seeking wind up merchant/keyboard warrior, and I can't agree with anything he's written so far..............but still, discussion is better than censorship IMO.

Do people actually dislike oaf?

I think if this was run a month later, with the re-emergence of SERNWA, he would be an absolute shoe in for first. Unfortunately, I fear that people may have either forgotten about him, or they've never had the displeasure of coming across that c***.

I think it's more likely that not all that many people know of these polls.

SERNWA is quite shocking. There's some entertainment value as he creates his own personal train wreck on most threads he posts into, but he also puts people off posting. No doubt about that. He's doing his PGCE apparently, so will be a teacher soon.

He genuinely thinks he wins most battles, but his curious lack of intelligence, his amusing illiteracy and his almost astounding stupidity mean that almost everyone bests him. I think the other Millers (and there's a number of them, mostly with good banter) despair of him.

I can't remember him being racist though, for all his faults. He really detests you, me and markwwfc, and I wear that as a badge of honour.

The cancer thread in the champ forum. A couple of the posts were deleted but you can still see the gist.

Just read it. SERNWA at his "best".....foam-mouthed ranting, trying to ridicule others, nasty. First time I've ever reported a post.

It starts you wondering about the concept of free speech in a forum. There comes a time when it's just grotesque. It's like Katie Hopkins. Glad for her to expose herself as a noxious, uneducated, elitist scumbag but I wonder what advertisers and readers think.

Do you let it go on? Or censor it? You only have to look at SERNWA's Tweets to see that there is a seriously disturbed edge to him. (Example: "Sick of hearing about Ebola, do you think Africa was worried about the Rotherham floods of 2007..." Oct 6, 2014)
Do they provide this 'edge' as a standard part of his PGCE, or is it something you have to have before training to be a teacher?

I get the impression he's never lived outside of Rotherham (maybe wrong). What I do know is if he were to be my children's teacher, I would be looking for a new school for them. During the election, my lads politics teacher openly said 'the country will be in trouble if the Tories get back in', his own view, to a class of 14 year olds. While I may, or may not disagree, I can understand the number of complaints the school received. Imagine SERNWA in front of a class of 14 year olds? The complaints line would be red hot!!

Racism should not be tolerated in the 21st century, we should be better than that, in fact all discrimination against anyone no matter who they are and the idiots who post vile abuse should hang their heads in shame. Shout racist abuse on the street you'll be arrested but brave keyboard warriors get away with it.

What about discriminating against neo-nazi, rapist, animal-abusing, genocide-supporting, child-murdering racists?

Oh (I still have no idea)

OxTid must have fallen off the radar the best part of a decade ago...
Semi-serious for a moment...just shows how big an impact one person can have on someone else without even realising. I suspect this oxtid bloke hasn't thought about TFF in yonks and has no idea 1FF exists. And yet after all these years someone still really hates him.

I'm also concerned that people like SERNWA will be teaching children. I haven't seen his posts, but I'm getting the impression he's a cretin. Also if the quote below is verbatim, then he should have put a question mark at the end of that sentence.

"Sick of hearing about Ebola, do you think Africa was worried about the Rotherham floods of 2007..." Oct 6, 2014)

Any teacher who is incapable of putting a question mark at the end of a written sentence should not be allowed into the school. Unless they're a PE teacher who just sit about and do fuck all anyway.

How old should children be before they're faced with opinions?

It's probably the nature of opinions expressed rather than any age that's more important. I've got no problem with a racist protozoan teaching my kid, so long as he leaves his racism at home.

They should be left to form their own IMHO, not have one forced upon them by someone who should know better. I wouldn't tell my kids how to vote yet I explained the differences and why I did what I did at the election. To me, teaching should be impartial where kids are envolved.

That's fair, but you probably allowed some of your bias/preferences to come through unwittingly when you were explaining the political parties to your children. It's very rare to receive truly impartial advice.

I probably did Steven but as the parent of my son (who will be able to vote next time), surely it's my job to help him in every way I can? While a teacher should (in my opinion) have the skills and training to do better than me to be impartial, I don't think they should be making sweeping statements about any party due to their own political allegiance. Maybe that's an old fashioned view, I don't know.
My lad knows how I voted (I took him into the voting booth so he saw what happens) and why but it doesn't mean he has to do the same in 5 years.
